耶穌知道他們的心思，就說：「你們為什麼心懷惡念呢？

我的上帝啊，我知道你洞察人心，喜愛正直的人。我懷著正直的心甘願獻上這一切，我也看見你這裡的子民甘心樂意地將財物獻給你。

既然基督曾在肉身上為你們受苦，你們也要懷著同樣的心志，因為肉體受過苦的人已經與罪斷絕了關係，

上帝怎會不知道呢？祂洞悉人心中的秘密。

「我知道你無所不能，你的旨意無不成就。

不過哪怕是犧牲性命，我也在所不辭，，只盼望我能跑完當跑的路程，完成主耶穌交託給我的使命，為上帝充滿恩典的福音做見證。

趁著白天，我們必須做差我來者的工作，黑夜一到，就沒有人能工作了。

受造物在上帝面前都無法隱藏，因為萬物都是赤裸裸地暴露在上帝眼前，我們必須向祂交帳。

「我兒所羅門啊，你要認識你父親的上帝耶和華，誠心樂意地事奉祂，因為祂洞察人心，知道人一切的心思意念。倘若你尋求祂，祂必讓你尋見；倘若你背棄祂，祂必永遠丟棄你。

王瞭解這些事，所以我才敢在王面前直言。我相信這些事沒有一件瞞得過王，因為這些事並非暗地裡做的。

不用別人告訴祂，祂也深知人的內心。

我要擊殺她的爪牙，使眾教會都知道我洞察人的心思意念，我要照你們各人的行為對待你們。

祂不灰心也不沮喪，直到祂在地上設立正義。四海都渴望祂的訓誨。」

耶穌第三次問：「約翰的兒子西門，你愛我嗎？」彼得因為耶穌一連三次這樣問他，就難過起來，於是對耶穌說：「主啊！你是無所不知的，你知道我愛你。」耶穌說：「你要餵養我的羊。

耶穌知道他們的想法，就問：「你們為什麼心裡議論呢？

毫不懼怕敵人的恐嚇。這清楚表明他們必滅亡，你們必得救，這是出於上帝。
