耶稣知道他们的心思，就说：“你们为什么心怀恶念呢？

我的上帝啊，我知道你洞察人心，喜爱正直的人。我怀着正直的心甘愿献上这一切，我也看见你这里的子民甘心乐意地将财物献给你。

既然基督曾在肉身上为你们受苦，你们也要怀着同样的心志，因为肉体受过苦的人已经与罪断绝了关系，

上帝怎会不知道呢？祂洞悉人心中的秘密。

“我知道你无所不能，你的旨意无不成就。

不过，只要能跑完我当跑的路程，完成主耶稣交托给我的使命——为上帝充满恩典的福音做见证，就是牺牲性命，我也在所不惜。

趁着白天，我们必须做差我来者的工作，黑夜一到，就没有人能工作了。

受造物在上帝面前都无法隐藏，因为万物都是赤裸裸地暴露在上帝眼前，我们必须向祂交账。

“我儿所罗门啊，你要认识你父亲的上帝耶和华，诚心乐意地事奉祂，因为祂洞察人心，知道人一切的心思意念。倘若你寻求祂，祂必让你寻见；倘若你背弃祂，祂必永远丢弃你。

王了解这些事，所以我才敢在王面前直言。我相信这些事没有一件瞒得过王，因为这些事并非暗地里做的。

不用别人告诉祂，祂也深知人的内心。

我要击杀她的爪牙，使众教会都知道我洞察人的心思意念，我要照你们各人的行为对待你们。

祂不灰心也不沮丧，直到祂在地上设立正义。四海都渴望祂的训诲。”

耶稣第三次问：“约翰的儿子西门，你爱我吗？”彼得因为耶稣一连三次这样问他，就难过起来，于是对耶稣说：“主啊！你是无所不知的，你知道我爱你。”耶稣说：“你要喂养我的羊。

耶稣知道他们的想法，就问：“你们为什么心里议论呢？

毫不惧怕敌人的恐吓。这清楚表明他们必灭亡，你们必得救，这是出于上帝。
