耶稣又进了会堂，在那里有一个人，他的一只手萎缩了。众人为了要控告耶稣，就窥探他会不会在安息日医治那人。耶稣对那手萎缩了的人说：“起来站在当中！”他又问众人：“在安息日行善行恶，救命害命，哪样是合法的呢？”他们都不作声。耶稣怒目环视他们，因他们的心刚硬而忧伤，就对那人说：“伸出手来！”他把手一伸，手就复原了。法利赛人出去，立刻同希律一党的人商议怎样除掉耶稣。

耶稣离开那地方，进了犹太人的会堂；那里有个一只手萎缩了的人。有人为了要控告耶稣，就问他：“安息日治病合不合法？”耶稣对他们说：“你们中间谁有一只羊在安息日掉在坑里，不抓住它，把它拉上来呢？人比羊贵重得多了！所以，在安息日做善事是合法的。”于是对那人说：“伸出手来！”他把手一伸，手就复原了，和另一只一样。法利赛人出去，商议怎样除掉耶稣。

耶稣下到迦百农，就是加利利的一座城，在安息日教导众人。

耶稣来到拿撒勒，就是他长大的地方。在安息日，照他素常的规矩进了会堂，站起来要念圣经。

里面躺着许多病人，有失明的、瘸腿的、瘫痪的。

耶稣走遍加利利，在各会堂里教导人，宣讲天国的福音，医治百姓各样的疾病。

安息日，耶稣在一个会堂里教导人。

于是法利赛人中有的说：“这个人不是从神来的，因为他不守安息日。”另有的说：“一个罪人怎能行这样的神迹呢？”他们之间就产生了分裂。

耶稣回答律法师和法利赛人，说：“安息日治病合不合法？”

于是用双手按着她，她立刻直起腰来，就归荣耀给神。会堂的主管因为耶稣在安息日治病，就很生气，对众人说：“有六天应当做工，那六天之内可以来求医，在安息日却不可。”

有一个安息日，耶稣从麦田经过。他的门徒摘了麦穗，用手搓着吃。

耶罗波安王听见神人向伯特利的坛呼叫的话，就从坛上伸手，说：“拿住他！”王向神人所伸的手却萎缩了，不能弯回。

祸哉！无用的牧人丢弃羊群，刀必临到他的膀臂和右眼上；他的膀臂必全然枯干，他的右眼也必昏暗失明。”
