耶穌又進了會堂，那裡有個人一隻手是萎縮的。當時有好些人密切地監視耶穌，看祂是否會在安息日醫治這個人，好找藉口控告祂。耶穌對那一隻手萎縮的人說：「起來，站在中間。」然後問眾人：「在安息日應該行善還是作惡？救人還是害人？」他們都不吭聲。耶穌生氣地看著四周這些人，為他們的心剛硬而感到難過。祂對那人說：「把手伸出來！」那人一伸手，手就立刻復原了。法利賽人離開後，立刻和希律黨的人策劃怎樣除掉耶穌。

耶穌離開那裡，走進會堂，裡面有個人，一隻手是萎縮的。法利賽人企圖找藉口控告耶穌，就問祂：「安息日可不可以醫病呢？」耶穌回答說：「如果你們有一隻羊在安息日掉進坑裡，難道你們不把牠拉上來嗎？人比羊要貴重多了！所以在安息日行善合情合理。」於是，耶穌轉過身來對那人說：「把手伸出來！」那人一伸手，手就復原了，跟另一隻手一樣健康。法利賽人卻走了出去，策劃怎樣除掉耶穌。

耶穌下到加利利的迦百農鎮，在安息日教導眾人。

祂來到自己長大的地方拿撒勒，照常在安息日進會堂，並站起來誦讀聖經。

裡面躺著瞎眼的、瘸腿的、癱瘓的等許多病人。

耶穌走遍加利利，在各個會堂裡教導人，宣講天國的福音，醫治人們各樣的疾病。

有個安息日，耶穌在會堂裡講道。

有些法利賽人說：「那個人不是從上帝那裡來的，因為祂不守安息日。」有些人卻說：「如果祂是個罪人，又怎能行這樣的神蹟呢？」他們就爭論起來。

耶穌問法利賽人和律法教師：「在安息日可以醫病嗎？」

耶穌雙手按在她身上，她的腰立刻直了，便頌讚上帝。會堂主管看到耶穌在安息日為人治病，十分惱怒，就對眾人說：「一週有六天可以工作，求醫應當在這六天之內，不可在安息日！」

有一個安息日，耶穌和門徒走過一片麥田，門徒隨手摘下一些麥穗搓了吃。

耶羅波安王聽了他的話，就伸手指著他說：「給我拿住他！」但王伸出來的手僵住了，不能收回。

丟棄羊群的無用牧人有禍了！願刀砍在他的臂膀和右眼上！願他的臂膀徹底枯槁，他的右眼完全失明！」
