惟聞而不行者、譬人未置基而建屋於土上、橫流衝之即傾頹、而屋之頹壞者大矣、

然而，那听见而不实行的人，就好比一个人把房子建在地面上，没有根基。急流一冲，立刻倒塌了，并且那房子毁坏得非常厉害。”

聞而不行、則猶建屋於沙礫之上、全無根基、一經橫流冲擊、即頹然傾圮、而不堪收拾矣。』

But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete.”

But here is what happens when people listen to my words and do not obey them. They are like a man who builds a house on soft ground instead of solid rock. The moment the river rushes against that house, it falls down. It is completely destroyed.”

But the one who hears and does not do them is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. When the stream broke against it, immediately it fell, and the ruin of that house was great.”

But anyone who hears and doesn’t obey is like a person who builds a house right on the ground, without a foundation. When the floods sweep down against that house, it will collapse into a heap of ruins.”

But the one who hears and does not act is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The river crashed against it, and immediately it collapsed. And the destruction of that house was great.”

But the one who has heard and has not acted accordingly is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation; and the river burst against it and it immediately collapsed, and the ruin of that house was great.”

But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.”

But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that built a house upon the earth without a foundation; against which the stream brake, and straightway it fell in; and the ruin of that house was great.

行正直者、可得拯救、從邪曲道者、必顛蹶於路、必顛蹶於路或作必陷於坑阱

有播種者、出而播種、播時有遺道旁者、為人所踐、空中鳥盡食之、有遺磽地者、萌而即槁、因無潤澤也、有遺荊棘中者、荊棘同長而蔽之、

故我不能忍、復遣人欲知爾之信、恐試者惑爾、而我儕之勞徒然、

彼離我儕而出、原非屬我儕、若屬我儕、則必恆偕我、彼出、乃明非皆屬我儕者、

惟內無根、亦祇暫時、及為道而遇難窘逐、即躓蹶矣、

故當殷勤、有信當有德、有德當有知識、有知識當有操守、有操守當有忍耐、有忍耐當有虔敬、有虔敬當有愛兄弟之心、有愛兄弟之心、當有愛眾之心、爾有此、且充溢、則識我主耶穌基督而不怠荒、無不結果、人若無此、則如目矇、視不及遠、忘其舊日之罪已潔、

邪魔離人、游行旱地、求安而不得、乃曰、不如我仍歸所出之室、既至、則見其室空虛、掃除修飾、遂往、又攜七魔、惡於己者、偕入而居之、其人之後患、較前尤甚、此邪惡之世亦必如是、○

對曰、不願、後乃悔而往、又就次子、亦如此言、對曰、主、我往、而終不往、

至於我敵、不欲我君之者、可曳之來、誅於我前、○

我儕得識真理後、若故犯罪、則無復有可贖之祭、惟戰慄以待審判、及將焚燬諸敵之烈火、若有犯摩西律法者、二三人作證、必殺之無赦、況蹂躪天主之子、以使人成聖之約之血為不潔、又侮慢施恩之聖神、爾意其人應受之刑、當如何重哉、

其國民憾之、遣使隨其後、訴曰、我儕不欲斯人君我也、

播於磽地者、指人聽道、即喜受之、惟內無根、亦祇暫時、迨為道而遇難窘逐、即躓蹶矣、播於荊棘中者、指人聽道、而此世之思慮、及貨財之迷惑、蔽其道則不結實、

如是、信而無行、乃自死也或有人言、爾有信、我有行、請由爾之行、示我以爾之信、我將示爾以我之信由我之行、或作或有人言爾有信我有行請以爾無行之信示我我將示爾以我之信由我之行天主惟一、爾信之誠善、群魔亦信之而戰慄、無知者乎、爾欲知無行之信乃死乎、我祖亞伯拉罕獻其子以撒於祭臺、非由行而稱義乎、爾可見信乃助其行、且信由行而得全備也、乃應經所載云、亞伯拉罕信天主、其信則視為其義、彼且稱為天主之友、爾由是以觀、人得稱為義、非獨由信、乃由行也、妓拉合納使者、俾由他路而歸、非亦由行而稱義乎、身無靈則死、信無行亦死也、

彼因識吾主救主耶穌基督、而得脫於世污、後復為世污所擾所服、則其後患較前尤甚、

我語爾、當彼日、所多瑪之刑、較斯邑之刑猶易受也、禍哉爾哥拉汛乎、禍哉爾伯賽大乎、蓋在爾中所施之異能、若施於推羅西頓、彼早衣麻蒙灰、坐地而悔改矣、然審判日、推羅西頓之刑較爾之刑猶易受也、加伯農乎、爾曾得升至天、後必墮於地獄、夫聽爾者、即聽我、拒爾者、即拒我、拒我者、即拒遣我者也、○

僕知主人之意、而不設備、不順其意者、見撲必多、

爾當行道、不第聞道、毋自欺、蓋聞道而不行者、譬諸人以鏡觀己之本來面目、既觀而往、即忘其形容如何、惟詳察全備之律法、即使人自由之律法、而常守之、非聞而即忘、乃遵而行之者、此人於其所行之事福矣、若爾中有人自以為虔敬、而不制其舌、自欺其心、此人之虔敬徒然、

且在諸會堂、我屢刑之、強使毀謗耶穌、攻之益狂、窘逐之至外邑、

蓋我知我去後、必有殘酷之狼、入爾曹中、不惜其群、

爾託主名所傳於我之言、我不聽從、必循我口所出之言而為、必焚香灌奠、奉事天后、循我平日所為、循昔我列祖與王公、在猶大諸邑、在耶路撒冷街衢所為、當時我得飽食享福、不遇患難、

凡在我之枝而不結果者、父去之、凡結果者、修潔之、使之結果尤繁、

爾何稱我曰、主也、主也、而不行我所言乎、
