And Jesus, answering them, said,“ Have you not even read what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him,

耶穌回答他們說：『大衛（本人、和跟隨他的人）餓着的時候所作的，連這個你們也沒有誦讀過麼？

耶穌回答他們，說：「大衛和那些與他在一起的人飢餓時所做的事，你們難道這個也沒有讀過嗎？

耶穌曰、爾未讀大衛及從者飢時所行乎、

耶穌曰、爾未知大闢及從者、饑時所行乎、

耶穌答曰、經載大衛及從者饑時所行之事、爾未讀之乎、

耶穌應曰：『爾曹未讀大維及其從者飢時之所為乎？

Jesus answered them,“ Have you never read what David did when he and his companions were hungry?

Jesus answered them,“ Haven’t you ever read about what David did? He and his men were hungry.

And Jesus answered them,“ Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him:

Jesus replied,“ Haven’t you read in the Scriptures what David did when he and his companions were hungry?

Jesus answered them,“ Haven’t you read what David and those who were with him did when he was hungry—

But Jesus answering them said,“ Have you not even read this, what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him:

And Jesus answering them said, Have ye not read even this, what David did, when he was hungry, he, and they that were with him;

Jesus answered them,“ Haven’t you read what David and those who were with him did when he was hungry—

And Jesus answering them said, Have ye not read so much as this, what David did, when himself was an hungred, and they which were with him;

Jesus answered them,“ Haven’t you read what David did when he and his companions were hungry–

Jesus, answering them, said,“ Haven’t you read what David did when he was hungry, he, and those who were with him;

Now then, what do you have on hand? Give me five loaves of bread, or whatever can be found.”The priest answered David and said,“ There is no ordinary bread on hand, but there is consecrated bread, if only the young men have kept themselves from women.”David answered the priest and said to him,“ Be assured, women have been denied to us as previously when I left and the bodies of the young men were consecrated, though it was an ordinary journey; how much more then will their bodies be consecrated today?”So the priest gave him consecrated bread; for there was no bread there except the bread of the Presence which was removed from its place before the Lord, in order to put hot bread in its place on the day it was taken away.

And He* said to them,“ Have you never read what David did when he was in need and he and his companions became hungry;how he entered the house of God in the time of Abiathar the high priest, and ate the consecrated bread, which is not lawful for anyone to eat except the priests, and he also gave it to those who were with him?”

But He said to them,“ Have you not read what David did when he became hungry, he and his companions—how he entered the house of God, and they ate the consecrated bread, which was not lawful for him to eat nor for those with him, but for the priests alone?Or have you not read in the Law that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple violate the Sabbath, and yet are innocent?

and they said to Him,“ Do You hear what these children are saying?” And Jesus* said to them,“ Yes. Have you never read,‘ From the mouths of infants and nursing babies You have prepared praise for Yourself’?”

Have you not even read this Scripture:‘ A stone which the builders rejected, This has become the chief cornerstone;

But regarding the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God:

But regarding the fact that the dead rise, have you not read in the book of Moses, in the passage about the burning bush, how God spoke to him, saying,‘ I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’?

Jesus* said to them,“ Did you never read in the Scriptures,‘ A stone which the builders rejected, This has become the chief cornerstone; This came about from the Lord, And it is marvelous in our eyes’?

And He answered and said,“ Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning made them male and female,
