這時有幾萬人的羣眾聚攏來，甚至彼此踐踏；耶穌開始先對他的門徒說：『你們要自己注意，提防法利賽人的酵、就是假冒為善。

有一大羣人上他跟前來，帶着瘸子、殘廢的、瞎子、啞巴、和許多別的病人，都丟在他腳旁；他治好了他們；以致那羣人看見了啞巴能說話，殘廢的康健，瘸子能走路，瞎子能看見，都希奇，將榮耀歸與以色列的上帝。

這名聲一出，就傳遍那地方。

那人出去，倒宣傳許多話來，把這件事傳揚開了，以致耶穌再也不能顯然進城，只好在外邊荒野地方；人從四面來找他。過了些日子，耶穌又進迦百農；人聽說他在家。就有許多人聚集，甚至於再容不下，連門前也沒有地方；耶穌就對他們講道。

耶穌在全加利利周遊着，在他們的會堂裏教訓人，宣傳天國的福音，治好了民間的各樣疾病、各樣病症。他的名聲傳出去，到了全敍利亞；人把一切有病的、給各種疾病疼痛困迫的、被鬼附的、癲癇的、癱瘓的、都帶了來；耶穌都治好了他們。有許多羣人、是加利利、十邑區、耶路撒冷、猶太、和約但河外的人、都跟從了耶穌。

耶穌的名聲即刻傳出各處，到了全加利利周圍地區。

有一大羣人、因為見他在病人身上所行的神迹，就直跟從他。

有許多羣眾和耶穌同行；耶穌轉過身來對他們說：

耶穌同門徒退到海邊去；有屬於加利利的一大羣眾人跟着；

敬畏永恆主是智慧中的功課；要得尊榮、先要謙卑。

好行為也這樣，很顯然；就使不然，也不能隱藏。
