And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on[ his] face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

He fell with his face to the ground at Jesus’ feet and thanked him.( Now he was a Samaritan.)

As he was entering a village, ten men with leprosy met him. They stood at a distance,raised their voices and said,“ Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.”

And a leper approached, and bowed low before him, saying,“ Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”He stretched out his hand and touched him saying,“ I am willing. Be clean!” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.Then Jesus said to him,“ See that you do not speak to anyone, but go, show yourself to a priest, and bring the offering that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”

Pray to me when you are in trouble! I will deliver you, and you will honor me!”

Now a leper came to him and fell to his knees, asking for help.“ If you are willing, you can make me clean,” he said.Moved with compassion, Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying,“ I am willing. Be clean!”The leprosy left him at once, and he was clean.Immediately Jesus sent the man away with a very strong warning.He told him,“ See that you do not say anything to anyone, but go, show yourself to a priest, and bring the offering that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.”But as the man went out he began to announce it publicly and spread the story widely, so that Jesus was no longer able to enter any town openly but stayed outside in remote places. Still they kept coming to him from everywhere.

It has often thrown him into fire or water to destroy him. But if you are able to do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”Then Jesus said to him,“‘ If you are able?’ All things are possible for the one who believes.”Immediately the father of the boy cried out and said,“ I believe; help my unbelief!”

So he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.

When he went into the house, the blind men came to him. Jesus said to them,“ Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to him,“ Yes, Lord.”

When he calls out to me, I will answer him. I will be with him when he is in trouble; I will rescue him and bring him honor.

But the centurion replied,“ Lord, I am not worthy to have you come under my roof. Instead, just say the word and my servant will be healed.For I too am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I say to this one,‘ Go’ and he goes, and to another‘ Come’ and he comes, and to my slave‘ Do this’ and he does it.”

Now while Jesus was in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper,

Is anything impossible for the LORD? I will return to you when the season comes round again and Sarah will have a son.”

Be careful during an outbreak of leprosy to follow precisely all that the Levitical priests instruct you; as I have commanded them, so you should do.

He answered,“ Truly I am the commander of the LORD’s army. Now I have arrived!” Joshua bowed down with his face to the ground and asked,“ What does my master want to say to his servant?”

Then fire went out from the presence of the LORD and consumed the burnt offering and the fat parts on the altar, and all the people saw it, so they shouted loudly and fell down with their faces to the ground.

David looked up and saw the LORD’s messenger standing between the earth and sky with his sword drawn and in his hand, stretched out over Jerusalem. David and the leaders, covered with sackcloth, threw themselves down with their faces to the ground.

When all the people saw this, they threw themselves down with their faces to the ground and said,“ The LORD is the true God! The LORD is the true God!”

Now Naaman, the commander of the king of Syria’s army, was esteemed and respected by his master, for through him the LORD had given Syria military victories. But this great warrior had a skin disease.

The LORD also said to him,“ Put your hand into your robe.” So he put his hand into his robe, and when he brought it out– there was his hand, leprous like snow!

When the cloud departed from above the tent, Miriam became leprous as snow. Then Aaron looked at Miriam, and she was leprous!So Aaron said to Moses,“ O my lord, please do not hold this sin against us, in which we have acted foolishly and have sinned!Do not let her be like a baby born dead, whose flesh is half-consumed when it comes out of its mother’s womb!”

The LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron:“ When someone has a swelling or a scab or a bright spot on the skin of his body that may become a diseased infection, he must be brought to Aaron the priest or one of his sons, the priests.The priest must then examine the infection on the skin of the body, and if the hair in the infection has turned white and the infection appears to be deeper than the skin of the body, then it is a diseased infection, so when the priest examines it he must pronounce the person unclean.“ If it is a white bright spot on the skin of his body, but it does not appear to be deeper than the skin, and the hair has not turned white, then the priest is to quarantine the person with the infection for seven days.The priest must then examine it on the seventh day, and if, as far as he can see, the infection has stayed the same and has not spread on the skin, then the priest is to quarantine the person for another seven days.The priest must then examine it again on the seventh day, and if the infection has faded and has not spread on the skin, then the priest is to pronounce the person clean. It is a scab, so he must wash his clothes and be clean.If, however, the scab is spreading further on the skin after he has shown himself to the priest for his purification, then he must show himself to the priest a second time.The priest must then examine it, and if the scab has spread on the skin, then the priest is to pronounce the person unclean. It is a disease.“ When someone has a diseased infection, he must be brought to the priest.The priest will then examine it, and if a white swelling is on the skin, it has turned the hair white, and there is raw flesh in the swelling,it is a chronic disease on the skin of his body, so the priest is to pronounce him unclean. The priest must not merely quarantine him, for he is unclean.If, however, the disease breaks out on the skin so that the disease covers all the skin of the person with the infection from his head to his feet, as far as the priest can see,the priest must then examine it, and if the disease covers his whole body, he is to pronounce the person with the infection clean. He has turned all white, so he is clean.But whenever raw flesh appears in it he will be unclean,

Uzziah, who had an incense censer in his hand, became angry. While he was ranting and raving at the priests, a skin disease appeared on his forehead right there in front of the priests in the LORD’s temple near the incense altar.When Azariah the high priest and the other priests looked at him, there was a skin disease on his forehead. They hurried him out of there; even the king himself wanted to leave quickly because the LORD had afflicted him.

He asked him urgently,“ My little daughter is near death. Come and lay your hands on her so that she may be healed and live.”

Now four men with a skin disease were sitting at the entrance of the city gate. They said to one another,“ Why are we just sitting here waiting to die?

Therefore Naaman’s skin disease will afflict you and your descendants forever!” When Gehazi went out from his presence, his skin was as white as snow.
