And it happened when He was in a certain city, that behold, a man who was full of leprosy saw Jesus; and he fell on his face and implored Him, saying,“ Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”

And a man with leprosy came to Him and bowed down before Him, and said,“ Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”Jesus reached out with His hand and touched him, saying,“ I am willing; be cleansed.” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.And Jesus* said to him,“ See that you tell no one; but go, show yourself to the priest and present the offering that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”

Call upon Me on the day of trouble; I will rescue you, and you will honor Me.”

And a man with leprosy* came to Jesus, imploring Him and kneeling down, and saying to Him,“ If You are willing, You can make me clean.”Moved with compassion, Jesus reached out with His hand and touched him, and* said to him,“ I am willing; be cleansed.”And immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed.And He sternly warned him and immediately sent him away,and He* said to him,“ See that you say nothing to anyone; but go, show yourself to the priest and offer for your cleansing what Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”But he went out and began to proclaim it freely and to spread the news around, to such an extent that Jesus could no longer publicly enter a city, but stayed out in unpopulated areas; and they were coming to Him from everywhere.

It has often thrown him both into the fire and into the water to kill him. But if You can do anything, take pity on us and help us!”But Jesus said to him,“ ‘ If You can?’ All things are possible for the one who believes.”Immediately the boy’s father cried out and said,“ I do believe; help my unbelief!”

Therefore He is also able to save forever those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

And after He entered the house, the men who were blind came up to Him, and Jesus* said to them,“ Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They* said to Him,“ Yes, Lord.”

He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him.

But the centurion replied,“ Lord, I am not worthy for You to come under my roof, but just say the word, and my servant will be healed.For I also am a man under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to this one,‘ Go!’ and he goes, and to another,‘ Come!’ and he comes, and to my slave,‘ Do this!’ and he does it.”

Now when Jesus was in Bethany, at the home of Simon the Leper,

Is anything too difficult for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, at this time next year, and Sarah will have a son.”

“ Be careful about an infestation of leprosy, that you are very attentive and act in accordance with everything that the Levitical priests teach you; just as I have commanded them, you shall be careful to act.

He said,“ No; rather I have come now as captain of the army of the Lord.” And Joshua fell on his face to the ground, and bowed down, and said to him,“ What has my lord to say to his servant?”

Then fire went out from the Lord and consumed the burnt offering and the portions of fat on the altar; and when all the people saw it, they shouted and fell face downward.

Then David raised his eyes and saw the angel of the Lord standing between earth and heaven, with his drawn sword in his hand stretched out over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders, covered with sackcloth, fell on their faces.

When all the people saw this, they fell on their faces; and they said,“ The Lord, He is God; the Lord, He is God!”

Now Naaman, commander of the army of the king of Aram, was a great man in the view of his master, and eminent, because by him the Lord had given victory to Aram. The man was also a valiant warrior, but afflicted with leprosy.

The Lord furthermore said to him,“ Now put your hand inside the fold of your robe.” So he put his hand inside the fold, and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous like snow.

But when the cloud had withdrawn from above the tent, behold, Miriam was leprous, as white as snow. As Aaron turned toward Miriam, behold, she was leprous.Then Aaron said to Moses,“ Oh, my lord, I beg you, do not hold us responsible for this sin by which we have turned out to be foolish, and by which we have sinned.Oh, do not let her be like a dead person, whose flesh is half eaten away when he comes out of his mother’s womb!”

Then the Lord spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,“ When someone has on the skin of his body a swelling, or a scab, or a bright spot, and it becomes an infection of leprosy on the skin of his body, then he shall be brought to Aaron the priest or to one of his sons the priests.The priest shall look at the infected area on the skin of the body, and if the hair in the infection has turned white and the infection appears to be deeper than the skin of his body, it is an infection of leprosy; when the priest has looked at him, he shall pronounce him unclean.But if the bright spot is white on the skin of his body, and it does not appear to be deeper than the skin, and the hair on it has not turned white, then the priest shall isolate the person who has the infection for seven days.Then the priest shall look at him on the seventh day, and if in his eyes the infection has not changed and the infection has not spread on the skin, then the priest shall isolate him for seven more days.The priest shall then look at him again on the seventh day, and if the infected area has faded and the infection has not spread on the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean; it is only a rash. And he shall wash his clothes and be clean.“ But if the rash spreads farther on the skin after he has shown himself to the priest for his cleansing, he shall appear again to the priest.And the priest shall look, and if the rash has spread on the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean; it is leprosy.“ When the infection of leprosy is on someone, then he shall be brought to the priest.The priest shall then look, and if there is a white swelling on the skin, and it has turned the hair white, and there is new raw flesh in the swelling,it is a chronic leprosy on the skin of his body, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean; he shall not isolate him, for he is unclean.If the leprosy breaks out farther on the skin, and the leprosy covers all the skin of the person who has the infection from his head even to his feet, as far as the priest can see,then the priest shall look, and behold, if the leprosy has covered his entire body, he shall pronounce the one who has the infection clean; it has all turned white and he is clean.But whenever raw flesh appears on him, he shall be unclean.

But Uzziah, with a censer in his hand for burning incense, was enraged; and while he was enraged with the priests, leprosy broke out on his forehead in the presence of the priests in the house of the Lord, beside the altar of incense.Azariah the chief priest and all the priests looked at him, and behold, he was leprous on his forehead; and they quickly removed him from there, and he himself also hurried to get out because the Lord had stricken him.

and* pleaded with Him earnestly, saying,“ My little daughter is at the point of death; please come and lay Your hands on her, so that she will get well and live.”

Now there were four leprous men at the entrance of the gate; and they said to one another,“ Why are we sitting here until we die?

Therefore, the leprosy of Naaman shall cling to you and to your descendants forever.” So he went out from his presence afflicted with leprosy, as white as snow.
