眾駭異相語曰、此何言耶、蓋彼以權以能命邪鬼、而鬼出矣、

眾異之、相告曰、是何道耶、蓋以權能命邪神、而神出矣、

All the people were amazed and said to each other,“ What words these are! With authority and power he gives orders to impure spirits and they come out!”

All the people were amazed. They said to each other,“ What he says is amazing! With authority and power he gives orders to evil spirits. And they come out!”

And they were all amazed and said to one another,“ What is this word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!”

Amazed, the people exclaimed,“ What authority and power this man’s words possess! Even evil spirits obey him, and they flee at his command!”

Amazement came over them all, and they were saying to one another,“ What is this message? For he commands the unclean spirits with authority and power, and they come out!”

And amazement came upon them all, and they began talking with one another, saying,“ What is this message? For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!”

Then they were all amazed and spoke among themselves, saying,“ What a word this is! For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out.”

人奇其道、以其言具有權力故。

眾皆愕然相詰曰：『此何事耶？其新道歟！彼竟有權號令邪魔、而若輩且唯唯從命矣！』

魔見逐、瘖者言。眾皆驚異曰：『義塞國中、從未睹此。』

時有挈一中魔者至、瞽且瘖、耶穌康復之；於是口能言、而目能視矣。眾愕然曰：『此其大維之子歟！』

信者恆有神跡隨之、藉我名以祛鬼魔、以操新語、執蛇飲毒、莫之能害、手按病者、其病必痊。』主耶穌訓徒既畢、乃蒙接引昇天、坐天主右。於是諸徒起行、隨在宣道、賴主之佑、神跡隨之、用證其道之真實不妄。

未既、七十二人欣然而返、報曰：『緣主之名、鬼魔亦受制於吾儕矣！』主曰：『曩者予親睹沙殫如閃電自天而隕。識之哉！予已授爾以權能、俾爾蹂踐蛇蝎、降伏邪魔、所向莫之能害。第勿以鬼神服爾為喜、應以爾名書於天上自慶也。』

眾皆不勝嘆異曰、『是其所為、靡有不善；直使聾者聰、而瘖者言矣。』

甚至有人自葆樂之身、取巾或帷裙以去、置於病者之身、病即霍然、厲鬼亦出。時有猶太人遊行各處、誦咒祛鬼、向中魔者擅稱主耶穌之名曰：『予奉葆樂所傳之耶穌、敕汝等出。』行此者有猶太司祭長士基瓦之二子；然厲鬼答之曰：『耶穌予所識、葆樂予所知；顧爾為何許人耶？』中魔者即猛撲而制之、二人竟裸體負傷而遁戶外。

基督今已昇天、位於天主右、一切天神及權德諸品、莫不翕然順服、統於一尊。
