這婦人是希利尼人，屬敘利非尼基族的。她求耶穌把鬼從她女兒身上趕出來。耶穌對她說：『讓兒女們先喫飽了吧；因為拿女兒的餅丟給小狗、是不對的。』婦人回答耶穌說：『主啊，是的；就是桌子底下的小狗也喫孩子們的碎渣呀！』耶穌對她說：『就因這句話你去吧；鬼已經從你女兒身上出來了。』

能知道他旨意之奧祕，照他所喜悅的美意、他在基督裏所定的美意、
