諸徒同心一德、堅毅祈禱、尚有婦女數人、及耶穌聖母瑪莉雅與昆弟亦與之偕。

是為週首。既暮、諸徒以懼猶太人故、共聚一室、諸戶緊扃。而耶穌進立其中曰：『賜爾平安！』言畢伸手顯肋、令視。諸徒見主至忻。耶穌復諭之曰：『賜爾平安！正如聖父遣予、予亦遣爾。』言訖噓之曰：『領受聖神！爾赦人罪、其罪見赦、爾所不赦者、其罪留存。』當耶穌之來臨也、十二子中有多默亦名提諦莫者、適未與俱。他徒爰告之曰：『吾儕已曾見主。』而多默應曰：『吾非目睹其手中釘蹟、非吾親探其釘穴、非吾親手撫其肋孔、吾決不輕信。』八日後、諸徒仍聚室內、多默與俱、諸戶緊扃。耶穌復進立其中曰：『賜爾平安！』

二人趨告他徒、亦不之信。
