还有几个蒙了医治、脱离污鬼与疾病的妇女，其中有称为抹大拉的马利亚，曾有七个鬼从她身上赶出来；有希律的管家古撒的妻子约亚拿，又有苏珊娜，和许多别的妇女，她们都用自己的财物供给耶稣和门徒。

她们中间有抹大拉的马利亚、雅各和约西的母亲马利亚，以及西庇太的儿子的母亲。

也有些妇女远远地观看，她们之中有抹大拉的马利亚，小雅各和约西的母亲马利亚，以及撒罗米。这些妇女，当耶稣在加利利的时候，就一直跟随他、服事他。此外，还有许多和他一同上耶路撒冷的妇女。

使徒们回来聚集在耶稣跟前，把他们所作和所教导的一切都报告给他听。

马利亚站在坟墓外面哭泣。她哭的时候，屈身往里面观看，看见两个身穿白衣的天使，坐在安放耶稣身体的地方，一个在头那边，一个在脚那边。天使问她：“妇人，你为什么哭？”她说：“有人把我的主搬走了，我不知道他们把他放在哪里。”马利亚说了这话，就转过身来，看见耶稣站在那里，却不知道他就是耶稣。耶稣对她说：“妇人，你为什么哭？你找谁呢？”马利亚以为耶稣是园丁，就对他说：“先生，如果是你把他挪去了，请告诉我你把他放在什么地方，我好去搬回来。”耶稣对她说：“马利亚！”她转过身来，用希伯来话对他说：“拉波尼！”（就是“老师”的意思。）耶稣说：“你不要拉住我，因为我还没有上去见父。你要到我的弟兄们那里去，告诉他们我要上去见我的父，也是你们的父；见我的神，也是你们的神。”抹大拉的马利亚就去，向门徒报信说：“我已经看见主了！”她又把主对她所说的话告诉他们。

礼拜日的清早，耶稣复活了，先向抹大拉的马利亚显现，耶稣曾经从她身上赶出七个鬼。她就去告诉那些向来和耶稣在一起的人，那时他们正在悲哀哭泣。他们听见耶稣活了，又被马利亚看见了，却不相信。
