Then Pilate announced to the chief priests and the crowd,“ I find no basis for a charge against this man.”

Then Pilate spoke to the chief priests and the crowd. He announced,“ I find no basis for a charge against this man.”

Then Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowds,“ I find no guilt in this man.”

Pilate turned to the leading priests and to the crowd and said,“ I find nothing wrong with this man!”

Pilate then told the chief priests and the crowds,“ I find no grounds for charging this man.”

But Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowds,“ I find no grounds for charges in the case of this man.”

So Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowd,“ I find no fault in this Man.”

And Pilate said unto the chief priests and the multitudes, I find no fault in this man.

Pilate then told the chief priests and the crowds,“ I find no grounds for charging this man.”

Then said Pilate to the chief priests and[ to] the people, I find no fault in this man.

Pilate said to the chief priests and the multitudes,“ I find no basis for a charge against this man.”

Pilate asked,“ What is truth?” When he had said this he went back outside to the Jewish leaders and announced,“ I find no basis for an accusation against him.

A third time he said to them,“ Why? What wrong has he done? I have found him guilty of no crime deserving death. I will therefore flog him and release him.”

Pilate asked them,“ Why? What has he done wrong?” But they shouted more insistently,“ Crucify him!”

He committed no sin nor was deceit found in his mouth.

and said to them,“ You brought me this man as one who was misleading the people. When I examined him before you, I did not find this man guilty of anything you accused him of doing.Neither did Herod, for he sent him back to us. Look, he has done nothing deserving death.

For it is indeed fitting for us to have such a high priest: holy, innocent, undefiled, separate from sinners, and exalted above the heavens.

He asked,“ Why? What wrong has he done?” But they shouted more insistently,“ Crucify him!”When Pilate saw that he could do nothing, but that instead a riot was starting, he took some water, washed his hands before the crowd and said,“ I am innocent of this man’s blood. You take care of it yourselves!”

but by precious blood like that of an unblemished and spotless lamb, namely Christ.

Again Pilate went out and said to the Jewish leaders,“ Look, I am bringing him out to you, so that you may know that I find no reason for an accusation against him.”So Jesus came outside, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. Pilate said to them,“ Look, here is the man!”When the chief priests and their officers saw him, they shouted out,“ Crucify him! Crucify him!” Pilate said,“ You take him and crucify him! Certainly I find no reason for an accusation against him!”

As he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent a message to him:“ Have nothing to do with that innocent man; I have suffered greatly as a result of a dream about him today.”

Because Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, to bring you to God, by being put to death in the flesh but by being made alive in the spirit.
