Jesus said,“ Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.” Dividing his garments among them, they cast lots.

耶穌曰：『父乎、眾不知其所為、祈寬赦之。』

Jesus said,“ Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.

But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,

not rendering evil for evil, or insult for insult; but instead blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.

He kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice,“ Lord, don’t hold this sin against them!” When he had said this, he fell asleep.

For what glory is it if, when you sin, you patiently endure beating? But if, when you do well, you patiently endure suffering, this is commendable with God.For you were called to this, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving you an example, that you should follow his steps,who didn’t sin,“ neither was deceit found in his mouth.”When he was cursed, he didn’t curse back. When he suffered, he didn’t threaten, but committed himself to him who judges righteously.

which none of the rulers of this world has known. For had they known it, they wouldn’t have crucified the Lord of glory.

“ But I tell you who hear: love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you.

Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don’t curse.

They divide my garments among them. They cast lots for my clothing.

‘ You shall tell Joseph,“ Now please forgive the disobedience of your brothers, and their sin, because they did evil to you.”’ Now, please forgive the disobedience of the servants of the God of your father.” Joseph wept when they spoke to him.

Therefore I will give him a portion with the great. He will divide the plunder with the strong; because he poured out his soul to death and was counted with the transgressors; yet he bore the sins of many and made intercession for the transgressors.

“ Now, brothers, I know that you did this in ignorance, as did also your rulers.

although I used to be a blasphemer, a persecutor, and insolent. However, I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

We toil, working with our own hands. When people curse us, we bless. Being persecuted, we endure.

If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have had sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.He who hates me, hates my Father also.If I hadn’t done among them the works which no one else did, they wouldn’t have had sin. But now they have seen and also hated both me and my Father.

When the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying,“ Certainly this was a righteous man.”All the multitudes that came together to see this, when they saw the things that were done, returned home beating their breasts.

Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also the coat. Now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout.Then they said to one another,“ Let’s not tear it, but cast lots for it to decide whose it will be,” that the Scripture might be fulfilled, which says,“ They parted my garments among them. For my cloak they cast lots.” Therefore the soldiers did these things.

At that time, Jesus answered,“ I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you hid these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to infants.

That servant, who knew his lord’s will, and didn’t prepare, nor do what he wanted, will be beaten with many stripes,but he who didn’t know, and did things worthy of stripes, will be beaten with few stripes. To whomever much is given, of him will much be required; and to whom much was entrusted, of him more will be asked.

Crucifying him, they parted his garments among them, casting lots on them, what each should take.

Jesus answered,“ You would have no power at all against me, unless it were given to you from above. Therefore he who delivered me to you has greater sin.”

They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron, Yahweh’s saint.The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram.A fire was kindled in their company. The flame burned up the wicked.They made a calf in Horeb, and worshiped a molten image.Thus they exchanged their glory for an image of a bull that eats grass.They forgot God, their Savior, who had done great things in Egypt,wondrous works in the land of Ham, and awesome things by the Red Sea.Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had Moses, his chosen, not stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, so that he wouldn’t destroy them.

When they had crucified him, they divided his clothing among them, casting lots,and they sat and watched him there.
