謂之曰：『胡為睡耶？起而禱！庶免陷誘。』

“ Why are you sleeping?” he asked them.“ Get up and pray so that you will not fall into temptation.”

“ Why are you sleeping?” he asked them.“ Get up! Pray that you won’t fall into sin when you are tempted.”

and he said to them,“ Why are you sleeping? Rise and pray that you may not enter into temptation.”

“ Why are you sleeping?” he asked them.“ Get up and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation.”

“ Why are you sleeping?” he asked them.“ Get up and pray, so that you won’t fall into temptation.”

and He said to them,“ Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray that you do not come into temptation.”

Then He said to them,“ Why do you sleep? Rise and pray, lest you enter into temptation.”

and said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, that ye enter not into temptation.

“ Why are you sleeping?” He asked them.“ Get up and pray, so that you won’t enter into temptation.”

And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.

So he said to them,“ Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray that you will not fall into temptation!”

When he was at the place, he said to them,“ Pray that you don’t enter into temptation.”

“ So be careful, or your hearts will be loaded down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that day will come on you suddenly.For it will come like a snare on all those who dwell on the surface of all the earth.Therefore be watchful all the time, praying that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will happen, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

So the ship master came to him, and said to him,“ What do you mean, sleeper? Arise, call on your God! Maybe your God will notice us, so that we won’t perish.”

Give no sleep to your eyes, nor slumber to your eyelids.Free yourself, like a gazelle from the hand of the hunter, like a bird from the snare of the fowler.Go to the ant, you sluggard. Consider her ways, and be wise;which having no chief, overseer, or ruler,provides her bread in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest.How long will you sleep, sluggard? When will you arise out of your sleep?A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:so your poverty will come as a robber, and your scarcity as an armed man.
