You will be betrayed even by parents, brothers and sisters, relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death.

此即予在耶路撒冷時之所行也。嘗受權於司祭長、逮捕聖徒多人下獄其定讞處死、予亦與焉；且屢於會堂中加以楚撻、意欲迫其發褻瀆之語；恨之既甚、逐之外邑。
