Then he said to them:“ Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

Then He told them:“ Nation will be raised up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

Then he said to them,“ Nation will rise up in arms against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places. There will be famines and troubles. These things are the beginning of birth pains.

I will show wonders in the sky above, and signs on the earth beneath: blood, and fire, and billows of smoke.The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and glorious day of the Lord comes.

It will happen in that day, that a great panic from Yahweh will be among them; and they will each hold onto the hand of his neighbor, and his hand will rise up against the hand of his neighbor.

In those times there was no peace to him who went out, nor to him who came in; but great troubles were on all the inhabitants of the lands.They were broken in pieces, nation against nation, and city against city; for God troubled them with all adversity.

This phrase,“ Yet once more” signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that have been made, that those things which are not shaken may remain.

For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city will be taken, the houses rifled, and the women ravished. Half of the city will go out into captivity, and the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city.Then Yahweh will go out and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

And behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it had a bow. They were told that they should rest yet for a while, until their fellow servants and their brothers, who would also be killed even as they were, should complete their course.I saw when he opened the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake. The sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became as blood.

“ Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying,‘ I will shake the heavens and the earth.I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms. I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the nations. I will overthrow the chariots, and those who ride in them. The horses and their riders will come down, everyone by the sword of his brother.

One of them named Agabus stood up, and indicated by the Spirit that there should be a great famine all over the world, which also happened in the days of Claudius.

I will stir up the Egyptians against the Egyptians, and they will fight everyone against his brother, and everyone against his neighbor; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.
