有經士數人曰、師之言是也、

有几个文士说：“夫子！你说得好。”

几位律法教师说：“老师答得好！”

经学家中有几个说：“老师，你说得好。”

有一些经文士应声说：“老师，你说得好。”

有幾個文士說：「夫子！你說得好。」

有幾個文士說：「老師，你說得好。」

有幾個文士說：「老師，你說得好。」

幾位律法教師說：「老師答得好！」

經學家中有幾個說：“老師，你說得好。”

有幾個經學士應時就說：『先生，你說得好。』

有一些經文士應聲說：「老師，你說得好。」

有士子數人曰、夫子所言善矣、

士子數人曰、先生之言善也、

有經生應曰：『夫子、旨哉爾言。』

Some of the teachers of the law responded,“ Well said, teacher!”

Some of the teachers of the law replied,“ You have spoken well, teacher!”

Then some of the scribes answered,“ Teacher, you have spoken well.”

“ Well said, Teacher!” remarked some of the teachers of religious law who were standing there.

Some of the scribes answered,“ Teacher, you have spoken well.”

Some of the scribes answered and said,“ Teacher, You have spoken well.”

Then some of the scribes answered and said,“ Teacher, You have spoken well.”

And certain of the scribes answering said, Teacher, thou hast well said.

Some of the scribes answered,“ Teacher, You have spoken well.”

Then certain of the scribes answering said, Master, thou hast well said.

Then some of the experts in the law answered,“ Teacher, you have spoken well!”

Some of the scribes answered,“ Teacher, you speak well.”

眾大譟、屬法利賽教之經士、起而爭辯曰、我儕見此人無惡、若有鬼魂或天使與之言、我儕不可敵天主、

有一經士聞其辯論、又見耶穌應對甚善、就而問耶穌曰、何為諸誡之首、耶穌答曰、諸誡之首云、以色列人、聽之哉、主我天主、乃獨一之主、爾當盡心盡性盡意盡力、愛主爾之天主、此首誡也、其次愛人如己、亦如之、諸誡未有大於此二者、經士謂之曰、善哉師歟、所言誠是、天主惟一、其外無他、且盡心盡性盡意盡力愛之、又愛人如己、勝於一切火焚之祭、及諸祭祀、耶穌見其應對有智、謂之曰、爾離天主國不遠矣、自是無敢問之者、○

法利賽人聞耶穌駁撒度該人、使之無辭以對、原文作塞撒度該人之口遂集、其中一教法師、試耶穌、問曰、師、律法諸誡、何為最大、耶穌曰、爾當盡心盡性盡意愛主爾之天主、此乃諸誡之首、且最大者、其次、愛人如己、亦如之、此二誡、乃律法及先知之大綱、原文作全律法及先知皆繫於此二誡○
