“ Show Me a denarius. Whose image and inscription does it have?” They said,“ Caesar’s.”

就叫他们拿一个银币来，问他们：“上面刻的是谁的像和名号？”他们说：“凯撒的。”

“给我一个银币看看，上面是谁的像，谁的名号？”他们说：“凯撒的。”

“拿一个银币给我看。这上面是谁的像和名号？”他们说：“是凯撒的。”

「拿一個銀錢來給我看。這像和這號是誰的？」他們說：「是凱撒的。」

「拿一個銀幣來給我看。這像和這名號是誰的？」他們說：「是凱撒的。」

就叫他們拿一個銀幣來，問他們：「上面刻的是誰的像和名號？」他們說：「凱撒的。」

『把個「一日工錢」幣指給我看；這錢幣有誰的像和標號？』他們說：『有該撒的。』

「拿一個銀幣給我看。這上面是誰的像和名號？」他們說：「是凱撒的。」

以一錢示我、是像與號為誰、曰、該撒、

將一金錢、與我觀之、是像與號誰乎、對曰、該撒、

取一第拿流、予我觀之、是像與號屬誰、曰、屬該撒、

且以銀幣示我！夫此為誰氏之像號？』曰：『凱撒也。』

“ Show me a denarius. Whose image and inscription are on it?”“ Caesar’s,” they replied.

“ Show me a silver coin. Whose picture and words are on it?”“ Caesar’s,” they replied.

“ Show me a denarius. Whose likeness and inscription does it have?” They said,“ Caesar’s.”

“ Show me a Roman coin. Whose picture and title are stamped on it?”“ Caesar’s,” they replied.

“ Show me a denarius. Whose image and inscription does it have?”“ Caesar’s,” they said.

Show Me a denarius. Whose image and inscription does it have?” They answered and said,“ Caesar’s.”

Show me a denarius. Whose image and superscription hath it? And they said, Cæsar’s.

“ Show Me a denarius. Whose image and inscription does it have?”“ Caesar’s,” they said.

Shew me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath it? They answered and said, Caesar’s.

“ Show me a denarius. Whose image and inscription are on it?” They said,“ Caesar’s.”

Show me a denarius. Whose image and inscription are on it?” They answered,“ Caesar’s.”

But that slave went out and found one of his fellow slaves who owed him a hundred denarii; and he seized him and began to choke him, saying,‘ Pay back what you owe!’

And they began to bring charges against Him, saying,“ We found this man misleading our nation and forbidding us to pay taxes to Caesar, and saying that He Himself is Christ, a King.”

All the saints greet you, especially those of Caesar’s household.

Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, when Pontius Pilate was governor of Judea, and Herod was tetrarch of Galilee and his brother Philip was tetrarch of the region of Ituraea and Trachonitis, and Lysanias was tetrarch of Abilene,

Now in those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus, that a census be taken of all the inhabited earth.

And Agrippa said to Festus,“ This man could have been set free if he had not appealed to Caesar.”

while Paul said in his own defense,“ I have not done anything wrong either against the Law of the Jews, or against the temple, or against Caesar.”But Festus, wanting to do the Jews a favor, replied to Paul and said,“ Are you willing to go up to Jerusalem and stand trial before me on these charges?”But Paul said,“ I am standing before Caesar’s tribunal, where I ought to be tried. I have done nothing wrong to the Jews, as you also very well know.If, therefore, I am in the wrong and have committed something deserving death, I am not trying to avoid execution; but if there is nothing to the accusations which these men are bringing against me, no one can hand me over to them. I appeal to Caesar.”Then when Festus had conferred with his council, he answered,“ You have appealed to Caesar; to Caesar you shall go.”

When he had agreed with the laborers for a denarius for the day, he sent them into his vineyard.

One of them, named Agabus, stood up and indicated by the Spirit that there would definitely be a severe famine all over the world. And this took place in the reign of Claudius.

Is it permissible for us to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?”
