耶穌定睛看了看他們，就說：『那麼經上記着：「匠人所棄掉的這塊石頭、已成了房角石的頭一塊」、是甚麼意思呢？

耶穌注視著他們，說：「那麼，經上記的『工匠所棄絕的石頭，它已經成了房角的頭塊石頭』這話是什麼意思呢？

Jesus looked directly at them and asked,“ Then what is the meaning of that which is written:“‘ The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone’?

Jesus looked right at them and said,“ Here is something I want you to explain the meaning of. It is written,“‘ The stone the builders didn’t accept has become the most important stone of all.’( Psalm 118:22)

But he looked directly at them and said,“ What then is this that is written:“‘ The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone’?

Jesus looked at them and said,“ Then what does this Scripture mean?‘ The stone that the builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.’

But he looked at them and said,“ Then what is the meaning of this Scripture: The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone?

But Jesus looked at them and said,“ Then what is this statement that has been written:‘ A stone which the builders rejected, This has become the chief cornerstone’?

Then He looked at them and said,“ What then is this that is written:‘ The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone’?

But he looked upon them, and said, What then is this that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, The same was made the head of the corner?

But He looked at them and said,“ Then what is the meaning of this Scripture: The stone that the builders rejected— this has become the cornerstone?

And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?

But Jesus looked straight at them and said,“ Then what is the meaning of that which is written:‘ The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone’?

But he looked at them and said,“ Then what is this that is written,‘ The stone which the builders rejected was made the chief cornerstone?’

『祂是你們工匠丟棄的石頭，已成了房角石。』

所以主耶和華說：「看啊，我要在錫安放一塊基石，一塊經過考驗的石頭，一塊根基穩固的寶貴房角石，信靠的人必不致蒙羞。

工匠丟棄的石頭已成了房角石。

聖經上說，『工匠丟棄的石頭已成了房角石。

所以，對你們信的人而言，這石頭是寶貴的；但對那些不信的人來說，卻是：「工匠丟棄的石頭，已成了房角石。」也是：「絆腳石和使人跌倒的磐石。」他們跌倒是因為他們不順服真道，這種下場早已註定了。

看啊，這是我在約書亞面前安置的石頭，它有七眼，我要在上面刻上字，並在一天之內除掉這地方的罪。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。

耶穌說：「『工匠丟棄的石頭已成了房角石。這是主的作為，在我們看來奇妙莫測。』你們難道沒有讀過這段經文嗎？

耶穌對他們說：「我跟你們在一起的時候曾經說過，摩西的律法書、先知的書以及詩篇裡有關我的記載都要應驗。」

耶穌生氣地看著四周這些人，為他們的心剛硬而感到難過。祂對那人說：「把手伸出來！」那人一伸手，手就立刻復原了。

耶穌看看周圍的人，對門徒說：「有錢人進上帝的國真難啊！」

我告訴你們，『祂要被列在罪犯中』這句經文必在我身上應驗，因為聖經上有關我的事情快要實現了。」

這是要應驗他們律法書上的話，『他們無故地恨我。』

這時，主轉過頭來望著彼得，彼得想起主對他說的話：「明早雞叫之前，你會三次不認我。」

耶穌快到耶路撒冷時，看見那城就哀哭，
