Coming up to them at that very moment, she gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the redemption of Jerusalem.

Anna came up to Jesus’ family at that moment. She gave thanks to God. And she spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the time when Jerusalem would be set free.

And coming up at that very hour she began to give thanks to God and to speak of him to all who were waiting for the redemption of Jerusalem.

She came along just as Simeon was talking with Mary and Joseph, and she began praising God. She talked about the child to everyone who had been waiting expectantly for God to rescue Jerusalem.

當時在耶路撒冷有一個人名叫西面；這人又正義又虔誠，素來期望着以色列之受安慰，且有聖靈在身。

我們呢、卻盼望那將要釋放以色列的就是他。可是呢——不但如此，這些事發生，已到了第三日這一天了。

感謝上帝，感謝他那說不盡之白白的恩！

來了一個高貴的議員、亞利馬太人約瑟；他也是期望着上帝國的；他放膽進去見彼拉多，求耶穌的身體。

『主以色列的上帝是當受祝頌的，因為他眷顧了他的子民、來釋放他們

他的口立時開了，他的舌頭也舒展了，就說出話來，祝頌上帝。住在他們周圍的人都起了敬畏的心，這一切事便在猶太全山地談說遍了；聽見的人都將這事存放在心裏說：『那麼將來這孩子會怎樣呢？』有主的手曾經與他同在呀。

馬利亞說：『我的心尊主為大，我的靈以上帝我的拯救者為歡樂；因為他顧念了他使女的卑微；看吧，從今以後、萬代必稱我為有福。那有權能的為我成就了大事；他的名是聖的；他的憐憫施給敬畏他的人是代代無窮的。他用他的膀臂施展權能；用狂傲人心裏的妄想趕散了他們；他使有權力的從座位上黜落，使卑微的升高；饑餓的、他用美物滿足他們，富足的、他送他們空手走出去。他扶助了他的僕人以色列，來記念自己的憐憫、就是向亞伯拉罕和他後裔所施到永遠，照主自己對我們列祖所說過的。』馬利亞和以利沙伯同住、約三個月，就回家去了。

願祝頌歸與我們主耶穌基督的父上帝；他在基督裏、曾給我們祝福、以賜給我們天界中各樣屬靈的福氣。

西面就把孩子接到手臂中、祝頌上帝說：『主宰啊，照你應許的話、如今你釋放你奴僕安然而去了；因為我已親眼看到你的拯救，就是你所豫備在萬族之民面前、對外國人做啓示的光、又做你民以色列之榮耀的。』

這人並沒有附和眾人的計謀和行為。他是猶太的亞利馬太城的人，他素來期望着上帝的國。
