Coming up to them at that very moment, she gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the redemption of Jerusalem.

Anna came up to Jesus’ family at that moment. She gave thanks to God. And she spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the time when Jerusalem would be set free.

And coming up at that very hour she began to give thanks to God and to speak of him to all who were waiting for the redemption of Jerusalem.

She came along just as Simeon was talking with Mary and Joseph, and she began praising God. She talked about the child to everyone who had been waiting expectantly for God to rescue Jerusalem.

在耶路撒冷有一個人，名叫西面；這人又公義又虔誠，素常盼望以色列的安慰者來到，又有聖靈在他身上。

但我們素來所盼望、要贖以色列民的就是他！不但如此，而且這事成就，現在已經三天了。

感謝神，因他有說不盡的恩賜！

有亞利馬太的約瑟前來，他是尊貴的議士，也是等候神國的。他放膽進去見彼拉多，求耶穌的身體；

主－以色列的神是應當稱頌的！因他眷顧他的百姓，為他們施行救贖，

撒迦利亞的口立時開了，舌頭也舒展了，就說出話來，稱頌神。周圍居住的人都懼怕；這一切的事就傳遍了猶太的山地。凡聽見的人都將這事放在心裏，說：「這個孩子將來怎麼樣呢？因為有主與他同在。」

馬利亞說：我心尊主為大；我靈以神我的救主為樂；因為他顧念他使女的卑微；從今以後，萬代要稱我有福。那有權能的，為我成就了大事；他的名為聖。他憐憫敬畏他的人，直到世世代代。他用膀臂施展大能；那狂傲的人正心裏妄想就被他趕散了。他叫有權柄的失位，叫卑賤的升高；叫飢餓的得飽美食，叫富足的空手回去。他扶助了他的僕人以色列，為要記念亞伯拉罕和他的後裔，施憐憫直到永遠，正如從前對我們列祖所說的話。馬利亞和伊利莎白同住，約有三個月，就回家去了。

願頌讚歸與我們主耶穌基督的父神！他在基督裏曾賜給我們天上各樣屬靈的福氣：

西面就用手接過他來，稱頌神說：主啊！如今可以照你的話，釋放僕人安然去世；因為我的眼睛已經看見你的救恩－就是你在萬民面前所預備的：是照亮外邦人的光，又是你民以色列的榮耀。

眾人所謀所為，他並沒有附從。他本是猶太、亞利馬太城裏素常盼望神國的人。
