Coming up to them at that very moment, she gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the redemption of Jerusalem.

Anna came up to Jesus’ family at that moment. She gave thanks to God. And she spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the time when Jerusalem would be set free.

And coming up at that very hour she began to give thanks to God and to speak of him to all who were waiting for the redemption of Jerusalem.

She came along just as Simeon was talking with Mary and Joseph, and she began praising God. She talked about the child to everyone who had been waiting expectantly for God to rescue Jerusalem.

看哪，在耶路撒冷有一個名叫西面的人。這個人又公義又虔誠，一直期待著以色列得蒙安慰；聖靈也在他身上。

不過我們一直希望他就是要救贖以色列的那一位。不但如此，從這些事發生到今天，已經是第三天了。

感謝神，因他有無法描述的恩賜！

亞利馬太的約瑟來了，鼓起勇氣去向彼拉多請求要耶穌的遺體。約瑟是猶太議會中一位受人尊敬的議員，他也期待著神的國。

「主——以色列的神是當受頌讚的，因為他臨到了他的子民，並施行了救贖。

撒迦利亞的口立刻開了，舌頭也鬆了，就說出話來，頌讚神。於是住在他們周圍的人都感到懼怕，整個猶太山區的人也都在談論這一切事。所有聽見的人都把這一切存在心裡，說：「這孩子將來究竟會怎麼樣呢？」因為顯然有主的手與他同在。

瑪麗亞說：「我的心尊主為大，我的靈以神我的救主為樂，因為他看顧他婢女的卑微。看哪，從今以後，世世代代都要稱我有福，因為那全能者為我行了大事；他的名是神聖的。他的憐憫，世世代代臨到敬畏他的人。他用膀臂施展大能，驅散那些心思意念驕傲的人。他把權能者從高位上拉下，又把卑微的人高舉。他用美物滿足飢餓的人，讓富有的人空手而去。他扶助他的僕人以色列，不忘憐憫，正如他對我們祖先，對亞伯拉罕和他的後裔所說的，直到永遠。」瑪麗亞與伊莉莎白一起住了大約三個月，就回家去了。

願頌讚歸於神——我們主耶穌基督的父！他在基督裡，以天上各樣屬靈的福氣祝福了我們，

西面把孩子抱在懷裡，頌讚神說：「主啊，現在可以照你的話，讓你的奴僕平平安安地離去，因為我的眼睛已經看見你的救恩，就是你為萬民所預備的：他是啟示外邦人的光，是你子民以色列的榮耀。」

這個人並沒有贊同他們的計劃和行為；他是猶太的亞利馬太城的人，一直期待著神的國。
