赞美我们主耶稣基督的父上帝！祂在基督里赐给了我们天上各样属灵的恩福。

就把祂抱过来，称颂上帝说：“主啊，现在你的话已经成就，可以让你的奴仆安然离世了，因为我已亲眼看到你的救恩，就是你为万民所预备的救恩。这救恩是启示外族人的光，也是你以色列子民的荣耀。”

住在犹太地区的亚利马太城，一直在等候上帝国的降临。他并不苟同公会的决定。
