Now there was a man in Jerusalem called Simeon, who was righteous and devout. He was waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was on him.

夫妻二人遵行主的一切诫命和条例，无可指责，在上帝眼中是义人。

正在那时，她也前来感谢上帝，并把耶稣的事报告给所有盼望耶路撒冷蒙救赎的人。

因为上帝拯救世人的恩典已经显明了，这恩典教导我们除掉不敬虔的心和世俗的私欲，在今世过自律、公义、敬畏上帝的生活，怀着美好的盼望等候耶稣基督——我们伟大的上帝和救主的荣耀显现。主耶稣为我们牺牲自己，要救赎我们脱离一切罪恶，并洁净我们，使我们做祂的子民，成为热心行善的人。

伊丽莎白一听见玛丽亚的问安，腹中的胎儿便跳动起来，伊丽莎白被圣灵充满，

你们的上帝说：“你们要安慰我的子民。

住在犹太地区的亚利马太城，一直在等候上帝国的降临。他并不苟同公会的决定。

以下是有关挪亚的记载。挪亚是个义人，在当时的世代是个纯全无过的人，他与上帝同行。

乌斯有一个人名叫约伯，他纯全正直，敬畏上帝，远离罪恶。

他们说：“哥尼流百夫长是个又正直又敬畏上帝的人，连犹太人都称赞他。上帝的天使指示他请你到他家里去，好听你的指教。”

耶和华问撒旦：“你注意到我的仆人约伯了吗？世上没有人像他那样纯全正直，敬畏我，远离罪恶。”

我的上帝差遣天使封住了狮子的口，不让它们伤害我，因为我在上帝面前是清白的。王啊，我在你面前也没有过错。”王非常高兴，便命人把但以理从坑中拉上来。于是，但以理从坑中被拉了上来，他因为信靠他的上帝，身上毫无损伤。

因此，我一直尽力在上帝和人面前都做到问心无愧。

世人啊，耶和华已经指示你们何为良善。祂向你们所要的是什么呢？是要你们行公义，好怜悯，谦卑地与你们的上帝同行。

摩西说：“你是怕我的权威受影响吗？愿耶和华的子民都成为先知！愿耶和华把祂的灵降在他们身上！”

他和全家都是虔诚敬畏上帝的人，他慷慨周济穷人，常常祷告。

因为预言绝非出于人的意思，都是人受了圣灵的感动，讲出上帝的信息。

孩子的父亲撒迦利亚被圣灵充满，便预言说：

耶和华在云中降临，对摩西说话，把降在摩西身上的灵也赐给七十位长老。灵一降在他们身上，他们就说起预言来，但只说了这一次。
