And its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined.

Then He gave the disciples strict orders that they were to tell no one that He was the Christ.

But when the fullness of the time came, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law,so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons and daughters.

The kings of the earth take their stand And the rulers conspire together Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,

So some of the people of Jerusalem were saying,“ Is this man not the one whom they are seeking to kill?And yet look, He is speaking publicly, and they are saying nothing to Him. The rulers do not really know that this is the Christ, do they?However, we know where this man is from; but when the Christ comes, no one knows where He is from.”

not stealing, but showing all good faith so that they will adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in every respect.For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people,instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously, and in a godly manner in the present age,looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus,who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, eager for good deeds.

And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.

And has raised up a horn of salvation for us In the house of His servant David—

who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was granted to us in Christ Jesus from all eternity,but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,

More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them mere rubbish, so that I may gain Christ,

But He said to them,“ How is it that they say the Christ is David’s son?For David himself says in the book of Psalms,‘ The Lord said to my Lord,“ Sit at My right hand,Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.” ’Therefore David calls Him‘ Lord,’ and so how is He his son?”
