and said,“ Go into the village ahead of you. As you enter it, you will find a young donkey tied there, on which no one has ever sat. Untie it and bring it here.

telling them,“ Go to the village ahead of you. When you enter it, you will find a colt tied there that has never been ridden. Untie it and bring it here.

saying,“ Go your way into the village on the other side, in which, as you enter, you will find a colt tied, which no man had ever sat upon. Untie it and bring it.

耶稣差派彼得和约翰出去，说：“你们为我们准备逾越节吃的晚餐。”他们问：“你要我们到哪里去预备呢？”耶稣回答说：“你们进城的时候，一个男子会扛着一瓶水迎面走来，你们要跟着他，他进哪所房子，你们也进去，对房子的主人说，‘老师问你客房在哪里，祂要和门徒在里面吃逾越节的晚餐。’那主人会带你们到楼上一间布置整齐的大房间，你们就在那里预备吧。”他们进了城，所遇见的果然和耶稣所说的一样。他们便在那里预备逾越节的晚餐。

现在事情还没有发生，我便先告诉你们，到了事情发生的时候，你们就会相信。

你离开我以后，会在便雅悯境内的泄撒、靠近拉结的墓旁遇见两个人。他们会告诉你，走失的驴已经找到，现在你父亲不再为驴担心，反为你担心，说，‘我该怎样找到我的儿子呢？’你继续往前走，会在他泊的橡树那里遇见三个人。他们要到伯特利去敬拜上帝，一个牵着三只山羊羔，一个带着三个饼，一个拿着一皮袋酒。他们会问候你，送你两个饼，你会把饼收下。此后，你会去上帝的山，那里有非利士人的驻军。你一进城，就会遇见一群先知从丘坛下来，前面有人鼓瑟、敲鼓、吹笛、弹琴，先知们会说预言。耶和华的灵会降在你身上，你就会跟他们一起说预言，那时，你会变成另一个人。这些兆头临到你的时候，你就要见机行事，因为上帝与你同在。你先到吉甲去，在那里等我七天，我会到那里献燔祭和平安祭。我到了以后会告诉你怎么做。”扫罗转身离开撒母耳，上帝使他心灵焕然一新。撒母耳所说的预言那天都应验了。

两个门徒出去后，所遇见的情形正如耶稣所说的。
