我語汝、必速伸之矣、雖然、人子至、將見信於世乎、○

吾語汝、冤之伸也忽焉、人子至、詎見信於世乎、○

我告爾、必速伸其冤矣、但人子臨時、豈見世有信德乎、○

予實語爾、天主必迅予昭雪矣。雖然、人子重臨之日、猶能見篤信之德、存於人世否乎？』

I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”

I tell you, God will see that things are made right for them. He will make sure it happens quickly. But when the Son of Man comes, will he find people on earth who have faith?”

I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”

I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?”

I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?”

let us hold fast the confession of our hope that it waver not; for he is faithful that promised:and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and good works;not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as ye see the day drawing nigh.For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more a sacrifice for sins,

Then shall they deliver you up unto tribulation, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all the nations for my name’s sake.And then shall many stumble, and shall deliver up one another, and shall hate one another.And many false prophets shall arise, and shall lead many astray.And because iniquity shall be multiplied, the love of the many shall wax cold.But he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.

And as it came to pass in the days of Noah, even so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.They ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.Likewise even as it came to pass in the days of Lot; they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;but in the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all:after the same manner shall it be in the day that the Son of man is revealed.

And in covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose sentence now from of old lingereth not, and their destruction slumbereth not.

But forget not this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some count slackness; but is longsuffering to you- ward, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Make haste to answer me, O Jehovah; my spirit faileth: Hide not thy face from me, Lest I become like them that go down into the pit.Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; For in thee do I trust: Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; For I lift up my soul unto thee.Deliver me, O Jehovah, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me.

But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that aught be written unto you.For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.When they are saying, Peace and safety, then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall in no wise escape.

God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God will help her, and that right early.

Come now, ye rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming upon you.Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth- eaten.Your gold and your silver are rusted; and their rust shall be for a testimony against you, and shall eat your flesh as fire. Ye have laid up your treasure in the last days.Behold, the hire of the laborers who mowed your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth out: and the cries of them that reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth.Ye have lived delicately on the earth, and taken your pleasure; ye have nourished your hearts in a day of slaughter.Ye have condemned, ye have killed the righteous one; he doth not resist you.Be patient therefore, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it, until it receive the early and latter rain.Be ye also patient; establish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord is at hand.

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.
