眾睹此、咸駭愕、歌頌天主賜人偌大權能。

有司格於輿情、未敢加責、乃警而釋之。蓋眾睹奇行、咸尊天主、

耶穌言時、諸仇慚恧、而眾人則因其所行非凡之事、而為之歡欣鼓舞。

眾盡驚服、歸榮天主、心懷寅畏、而相語曰：『我儕今見神異之事矣！』

至前斥瘧、瘧退、婦即起而供事之。

吾之在世、所以為世之光也。』言畢、乃唾於地、以沫和泥、敷盲者之目、諭曰：『往矣、自洗於西祿池。』西祿之為言、奉使也。盲者往洗、目明而歸。

瞽者跛者、就耶穌於殿中、耶穌盡為治之、皆獲康復。

欲汝啟眾民萬邦之目、使自黑暗轉向光明、脫沙殫之掌握而歸依天主、俾以信予之故、而獲罪赦、與一切因信成聖者同嗣洪基。」

主臨之日、一切諸聖、皆當映其光輝、凡信之者、皆當彰其大德；是乃吾等之所傳、而爾等之所信也。因此吾儕不輟為爾祈禱、求我天主使爾無忝聖召；運其宏能、成爾善志；施其化工、充爾信德：庶幾我主耶穌之聖名、因爾見榮、爾亦得仰賴我天主及主耶穌基督之恩、因彼而見榮焉。

吁嗟吾魂。盍不頌主。宜將聖名。銘諸心府。吁嗟吾魂。盍不感主。恩澤綿綿嘉惠無數。赦爾諸罪。蘇爾疾苦。

莫不因予之故、而歸榮天主。

而爾等則為蒙選之族、赫赫司祭、雍雍神國實天主之眷屬也。天主既召爾等出於黑暗入於靈光、爾等可不表彰大德乎。
