要变卖你们的家产去周济穷人，要为自己预备永不破损的钱袋，在天上积攒取之不尽的财宝，那里没有贼偷，也没有虫蛀。

耶稣告诉他：“如果你想做到纯全，就去变卖所有的产业，送给穷人，你就必有财宝存在天上，然后你来跟从我。”

你要劝他们多多行善、慷慨施舍、乐意助人。这样，他们可以为自己的将来奠定美好的基础，以便持守真正的生命。

其实最要紧的事只有一件，玛丽亚选择了上好的，是夺不走的。”

“我告诉你们，要善用今世的钱财，广结朋友。这样，当钱财不管用时，他们会接你们到永远的居所。

弟兄姊妹，我并非以为自己已经得到了，我只专注一件事，就是忘记背后，努力向前，

耶稣又教导众人说：“如果有人要跟从我，就应当舍己，天天背起他的十字架跟从我。

“不要为自己在世上积攒财宝，世上有虫子咬，会生锈，又有贼闯进来偷。你们要把财宝积攒在天上，天上没有虫子咬，不会生锈，也没有贼闯进来偷。

亲爱的弟兄姊妹，有一件事你们不可忽略，就是主看一日如千年，千年如一日。

彼得问道：“你看，我们已经撇下一切来跟从你了，将来会有什么奖赏呢？”耶稣说：“我实在告诉你们，到万物更新、人子坐在祂荣耀的宝座上时，你们这些跟从我的人也要坐在十二个宝座上，审判以色列的十二个支派。

在路上有人对耶稣说：“无论你往哪里去，我都要跟从你。”耶稣对他说：“狐狸有洞，飞鸟有窝，人子却没有安枕之处。”耶稣又对另一个人说：“跟从我！”但是那人说：“主啊，请让我先回去安葬我的父亲。”耶稣说：“让死人去埋葬他们的死人吧，你只管去传扬上帝国的福音。”又有一个人说：“主啊！我愿意跟从你，但请让我先回去向家人告别。”耶稣说：“手扶着犁向后看的人不配进上帝的国。”

我曾向耶和华求一件事，我还要求，就是能一生住在祂的殿中，瞻仰祂的荣美，寻求祂的旨意。

信徒聚在一起，共用所有的东西。他们把田产家业变卖了，按照各人的需要把钱分给大家。

信徒都一无所缺，因为大家卖掉房屋田产，把所得的钱交给使徒，照各人的需要分配给各人。有个生在塞浦路斯的利未人名叫约瑟，使徒叫他巴拿巴，意思是劝慰者。他卖掉自己的一块田，把卖得的钱交给了使徒。
