說：『我實在告訴你們，你們若不回轉，變像小孩子的樣子，斷不得以進天國。所以凡自己謙卑像這個小孩子的，他在天國裏就是最大的。『凡為我名的緣故接待一個這樣的小孩子的，就是接待我；凡使這些信我的微小者之一個絆跌的，就使一塊驢牽的磨石掛在他的脖子上，沉在海洋裏，對於他還有益。

那軟弱的人、基督為他死的那弟兄、也就會因你的「知識」而失喪了！你們這樣犯罪害了弟兄、擊傷了他們的良知、便是犯罪敵對着基督了。

『你們要小心，不可輕看這些微小者之一個；我告訴你們，他們的守護天使在天上時常覲見我天上之父的面呢。

但從前在民間竟有了假的神言人呢；照樣子、在你們中間也必有假的教師。這種人必私下引進使人滅亡的派別來，連買他們的主、他們也否認，自己引着迅速快到的滅亡。許多人一味隨從他們的邪蕩，真理的路必因他們的緣故而受謗讟。他們並且要本着貪婪的心、用揑造的話、在你們身上牟取財利。他們之定受處刑從太古以來就沒有懶於執行；他們之定必滅亡並沒有打盹過。

他必像牧人牧養他的羊羣，用膀臂聚集喫奶的羊羔，抱在懷中，溫溫純純地引導餵奶的母羊。

他們既喫了早飯，耶穌就對西門彼得說：『約翰的兒子西門，你深愛我、比愛這些更深麼？』彼得對耶穌說：『主啊，是的；你知道我愛你。』耶穌對他說：『你餵養我的羔羊。』

至於我呢、這些個、我全沒享用過。我寫了這些話，並不是要人這樣待我。我寧可死，也不願意人使我的誇耀落了空。

萬軍之永恆主發神諭說：『刀劍哪，奮發，以攻擊我的牧民者哦！攻擊那做我同伴的人！我必擊打牧人、叫羣羊四散！微小者、我也必將手轉過去打他們。
