主見不義操會所行、稱其巧、蓋此世之人、其為身謀、較光明之人、尤巧也、○

主人乃譽此不義之司事者、因其所行者巧也、蓋此世之子、為世事而謀、較光明之子尤巧、

掌家固不義、然其深思遠慮、即其主人、亦不能不為之歎佩。蓋世俗子之所以謀身者、有敏於光明子之所以謀道者焉。

“ The master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly. For the people of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind than are the people of the light.

“ The manager had not been honest. But the master praised him for being clever. The people of this world are clever in dealing with those who are like themselves. They are more clever than God’s people.

The master commended the dishonest manager for his shrewdness. For the sons of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own generation than the sons of light.

“ The rich man had to admire the dishonest rascal for being so shrewd. And it is true that the children of this world are more shrewd in dealing with the world around them than are the children of the light.

“ The master praised the unrighteous manager because he had acted shrewdly. For the children of this age are more shrewd than the children of light in dealing with their own people.

And his master complimented the unrighteous manager because he had acted shrewdly; for the sons of this age are more shrewd in relation to their own kind than the sons of light.

So the master commended the unjust steward because he had dealt shrewdly. For the sons of this world are more shrewd in their generation than the sons of light.

And his lord commended the unrighteous steward because he had done wisely: for the sons of this world are for their own generation wiser than the sons of the light.

“ The master praised the unrighteous manager because he had acted astutely. For the sons of this age are more astute than the sons of light in dealing with their own people.

And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.

你們從前活在黑暗中，現在既然活在主的光明中，行事為人就該像光明的兒女。

你們都是光明之子，白晝之子。我們既不屬於黑夜，也不屬於黑暗。

所以你們當趁著有光的時候信從光，好成為光明的兒女。」耶穌說完後，便離開他們，隱藏起來。

耶穌說：「今世的人才有嫁娶，

「一個人在小事上忠心，在大事上也會忠心；在小事上靠不住，在大事上更靠不住。

懶惰的人啊，去看看螞蟻，觀察牠的生活，就會有智慧。螞蟻沒有元帥，沒有官長，也沒有君王，卻在夏季儲備糧食，在收割時積聚食物。

在耶和華上帝所造的田野的各種動物中，蛇最狡猾。蛇對女人說：「上帝真的說過不許你們吃園中所有樹上的果子嗎？」

耶和華啊，求你伸手救我脫離這些人，脫離這些只在今生有福分的世人。你使他們財寶無數。他們兒女眾多，還把財富留給子孫。

來吧！我們要設法阻止他們人口增長，否則一遇到戰爭，他們便會加入我們敵人的陣營來攻打我們，然後一走了之。」

我知道該怎麼辦了！就算被辭退了，也會有人照應我。』

他們的神就是自己的肚腹，他們以自己的羞恥為榮，只想著地上的事，他們的結局是滅亡。

這樣，就可以看出誰是上帝的兒女，誰是魔鬼的兒女。凡不按公義行事、不愛弟兄姊妹的，都不是上帝的兒女。

你們不要自欺。如果你們有人自以為在世上有智慧，他應當變成愚人，好成為真正的智者。

暗嫩有一個朋友名叫約拿達，是大衛長兄示米亞的兒子，生性狡猾。

彼得答道：「向外人。」耶穌說：「所以兒子不用納稅。

主接著說：「你們聽，這不義的審判官尚且這麼說，

我要向巴力獻大祭，你們去把巴力的先知和祭司及所有拜巴力的人一個不漏地召來。凡不來的人休想活命。」耶戶這樣做，是想用計殺盡拜巴力的人。

但你們是蒙揀選的族群，是君尊的祭司，是聖潔的國度，是上帝的子民，因此你們可以宣揚上帝的美德。祂曾呼召你們離開黑暗，進入祂奇妙的光明。

眾所周知，即使智者也要死去，愚人和庸者也要滅亡，將他們的財富留給別人。儘管他們用自己的名字來為產業命名，墳墓卻是他們永遠的歸宿，世代的住處。人不能長享富貴，終必死去，與獸無異。這就是愚昧人及其追隨者的下場！（細拉）他們註定要死，與羊無異，死亡是他們的牧者；到了早晨，他們必被正直人管轄，他們的軀體必朽爛在墳墓裡，遠離自己的豪宅。但上帝必救贖我的生命脫離死亡的權勢，接我到祂身邊。（細拉）因此，見他人財富增多，日益奢華，不要害怕。因為他們死後什麼也帶不走，再不能擁有榮華富貴。他們活著時自以為有福，人們都讚揚他們的成就，到頭來他們還是要歸到祖先那裡，再也看不見光明。
