“可是亚伯拉罕对他说：‘如果他们不听从摩西和先知们，就算有人从死人中复活，他们也不会被说服的。’

「可是亞伯拉罕對他說：『如果他們不聽從摩西和先知們，就算有人從死人中復活，他們也不會被說服的。』

曰、不聽摩西與先知、即有自死而起者、彼亦不受勸也、

亞伯拉罕曰、不聽摩西及先知、縱有由死復活者、彼亦不信、

亞伯漢曰：「不聽摩西與先知、縱死者復活亦不可勸化矣。」

“ He said to him,‘ If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”

“ Abraham said to him,‘ They do not listen to Moses and the Prophets. So they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’ ”

He said to him,‘ If they do not hear Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be convinced if someone should rise from the dead.’”

“ But Abraham said,‘ If they won’t listen to Moses and the prophets, they won’t be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead.’”

And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, if one rise from the dead.

“ But he told him,‘ If they don’t listen to Moses and the prophets, they will not be persuaded if someone rises from the dead.’”

He replied to him,‘ If they do not respond to Moses and the prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”

“ He said to him,‘ If they don’t listen to Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded if one rises from the dead.’”

于是他们和保罗定好了日子，就有更多的人来到他的住所。保罗从早到晚对他们讲解，为神的国郑重地做见证，并且引用摩西的律法和先知书上有关耶稣的事来劝导他们。

但如果我们的福音真的被遮盖了，也是在那些正灭亡的人中被遮盖的。

阿格里帕对保罗说：“你用几句话就要说服我成为基督徒吗？”

保罗进了会堂，放胆传道，一连三个月讲论并劝导人相信那些有关神国的事。

既然如此，我们因为知道敬畏主，就劝导人。我们在神面前是显明的，但我希望在你们的良心里，也是显明的。

于是祭司长们就商议，连拉撒路也要杀掉，因为有许多犹太人为了拉撒路的缘故，离开他们，信了耶稣。

耶稣说了这些话，就大声呼唤：“拉撒路，出来！”那死了的人就出来了；手脚缠着布条，脸上包着头巾。耶稣对他们说：“解开他，让他走！”来到玛丽亚那里的许多犹太人，看到耶稣所做的事，就信了耶稣。然而，其中有些人到法利赛人那里去，向他们报告耶稣所行的事。于是祭司长们和法利赛人召集了议会，说：“这个人行了很多神迹，我们该做什么呢？如果任凭他这样下去，大家都会信他，罗马人就会来，夺取我们的圣地和国家！”其中有一个人叫该亚法，是当年的大祭司，对他们说：“你们什么都不懂！也不想一想，一个人替民众死，免得全民族灭亡，这对你们是有益处的。”他说这话不是出于自己，只因他是当年的大祭司，就预言了耶稣要替全民族而死；而且不仅是替犹太民族死，也是要把神的那些四散的儿女都召集合一。从那天起，他们就商议要把耶稣杀掉。

愿神使雅弗扩张，使他住在闪的帐篷中；愿迦南作雅弗的奴仆。”
