“ Another said,‘ I have married a wife, and therefore I can’t come.’

“另有人说：‘我刚娶了妻子，所以不能去。’

又有一個說：『我才娶了妻，所以不能去。』

又有一個說：『我才娶了妻子，所以不能去。』

又有一個說：『我才娶了妻子，所以不能去。』

還有一個說，『我剛結了婚，所以不能去。』

又一個說：‘我剛結了婚，不能去。’

又另一個說：「我剛娶了妻，故此不能去」。

「另有人說：『我剛娶了妻子，所以不能去。』

又一人曰、我方娶妻、故不能往、

又一人曰、我方娶、不獲來、僕歸告主、

又一人曰、我方娶妻、故不得來、

又一人曰：「予方新婚、不克赴筵。」

“ Still another said,‘ I just got married, so I can’t come.’

Still another said,‘ I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.’

“ And another said,‘ I just got married, and therefore I’m unable to come.’

And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.

Another said,‘ I just got married, and I cannot come.’

When a man takes a new wife, he shall not go out in the army, neither shall he be assigned any business. He shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer his wife whom he has taken.

but he who is married is concerned about the things of the world, how he may please his wife.

He said to them,“ Most certainly I tell you, there is no one who has left house, or wife, or brothers, or parents, or children, for God’s Kingdom’s sake,who will not receive many times more in this time, and in the world to come, eternal life.”

But I say this, brothers: the time is short, that from now on, both those who have wives may be as though they had none;and those who weep, as though they didn’t weep; and those who rejoice, as though they didn’t rejoice; and those who buy, as though they didn’t possess;and those who use the world, as not using it to the fullest. For the mode of this world passes away.

“ If anyone comes to me, and doesn’t disregard his own father, mother, wife, children, brothers, and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he can’t be my disciple.Whoever doesn’t bear his own cross, and come after me, can’t be my disciple.For which of you, desiring to build a tower, doesn’t first sit down and count the cost, to see if he has enough to complete it?
