In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day— for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem!

Yes, today, tomorrow, and the next day I must proceed on my way. For it wouldn’t do for a prophet of God to be killed except in Jerusalem!

Yet it is necessary that I travel today, tomorrow, and the next day, because it is not possible for a prophet to perish outside of Jerusalem.

Nevertheless I must go on My journey today and tomorrow and the next day; for it cannot be that a prophet would perish outside Jerusalem.

眾人說：「這就是從加利利的拿撒勒來的先知耶穌。」

耶穌回答：「白天不是有十二個小時嗎？人如果在白天行走，就不會絆倒，因為他看見這世界的光。

因此，耶穌不再公開地在猶太人當中行事，而是離開那裡，到曠野附近的地方，進了一個叫以法蓮的城，在那裡與門徒們住下了。

耶穌對他們說：「我的食物就是遵行那派我來者的旨意，並且完成他的工作。

「看，我們現在上耶路撒冷去，人子將被出賣給祭司長們和經文士們。他們要定他死罪，

實際上，住在耶路撒冷的人和他們的首領們都不認識這一位，也不明白每逢安息日所誦讀的先知們的話，就把他定罪，從而應驗了這些話。

就是神怎樣以聖靈和能力膏立拿撒勒人耶穌，他走遍各地行善，使所有受魔鬼壓制的人痊癒，因為神與他同在。

趁著白晝，我們必須做那派我來者的工作；黑夜就要到了！那時候就沒有人能做工了。

耶穌說：「光在你們當中的時候不多了。要趁著有光的時候行走，免得黑暗抓住你們！因為在黑暗裡行走的人，不知道自己往哪裡去。

但那裡的人不接受他，因為他是往耶路撒冷去的。
