He said to them,“ Go tell that fox,‘ Look, I’m driving out demons and performing healings today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will complete my work.’

耶稣对他们说：“你们去告诉那狐狸：看哪！今天明天我驱赶鬼魔、治愈疾病，然后在第三天，我的事就得以完成了。

耶穌說：「你們去告訴那個狐狸說：『今天、明天我趕鬼治病，第三天我的事就成全了。』

耶穌對他們說：「你們去告訴那個狐狸：『你看吧，今天明天我趕鬼治病，第三天我的事就成了。』

耶穌說：「你們去告訴那個狐狸，『今天和明天，我要繼續趕鬼治病，到第三天，我的任務就完成了。』

他說：“你們去告訴那個狐狸，今天明天我趕鬼醫病，第三天我的事就完成了。

耶穌對他們說：『你們去告訴那個狐狸說：「你看吧，今天明天我趕鬼，完成醫務，第三天我就完了。」

耶穌對他們說：「你們去告訴那狐狸：看哪！今天明天我驅趕鬼魔、治癒疾病，然後在第三天，我的事就得以完成了。

耶穌對曰：『往告彼狐、予於今日明日逐魔治疾、第三日將畢吾程；

He replied,“ Go tell that fox,‘ I will keep on driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal.’

He replied,“ Go and tell that fox,‘ I will keep on driving out demons. I will keep on healing people today and tomorrow. And on the third day I will reach my goal.’

And he said to them,“ Go and tell that fox,‘ Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I finish my course.

Jesus replied,“ Go tell that fox that I will keep on casting out demons and healing people today and tomorrow; and the third day I will accomplish my purpose.

And He said to them,“ Go and tell that fox,‘ Behold, I am casting out demons and performing healings today and tomorrow, and on the third day I reach My goal.’

And He said to them,“ Go, tell that fox,‘ Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.’

And he said unto them, Go and say to that fox, Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures to- day and to- morrow, and the third day I am perfected.

He said to them,“ Go tell that fox,‘ Look! I’m driving out demons and performing healings today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will complete My work.’

And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third[ day] I shall be perfected.

But he said to them,“ Go and tell that fox,‘ Look, I am casting out demons and performing healings today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will complete my work.

He said to them,“ Go and tell that fox,‘ Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I complete my mission.

For in bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was entirely appropriate that God— for whom and through whom all things exist— should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

After he was perfected, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him,

But when John rebuked Herod the tetrarch because of Herodias, his brother’s wife, and all the evil things he had done,Herod added this to everything else— he locked up John in prison.

Jesus replied,“ I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these works are you stoning me?”

Your prophets, Israel, are like jackals among ruins.

Then I said,“ Now listen, leaders of Jacob, you rulers of the house of Israel. Aren’t you supposed to know what is just?You hate good and love evil. You tear off people’s skin and strip their flesh from their bones.You eat the flesh of my people after you strip their skin from them and break their bones. You chop them up like flesh for the cooking pot, like meat in a cauldron.”

King Herod heard about it, because Jesus’s name had become well known. Some said,“ John the Baptist has been raised from the dead, and that’s why miraculous powers are at work in him.”

“ Rabbi,” the disciples told him,“ just now the Jews tried to stone you, and you’re going there again?”“ Aren’t there twelve hours in a day?” Jesus answered.“ If anyone walks during the day, he doesn’t stumble, because he sees the light of this world.But if anyone walks during the night, he does stumble, because the light is not in him.”

Although the king was deeply distressed, because of his oaths and the guests he did not want to refuse her.The king immediately sent for an executioner and commanded him to bring John’s head. So he went and beheaded him in prison,brought his head on a platter, and gave it to the girl. Then the girl gave it to her mother.

For the law appoints as high priests men who are weak, but the promise of the oath, which came after the law, appoints a Son, who has been perfected forever.

Herod was very glad to see Jesus; for a long time he had wanted to see him because he had heard about him and was hoping to see some miracle performed by him.So he kept asking him questions, but Jesus did not answer him.The chief priests and the scribes stood by, vehemently accusing him.Then Herod, with his soldiers, treated him with contempt, mocked him, dressed him in bright clothing, and sent him back to Pilate.

I have glorified you on the earth by completing the work you gave me to do.Now, Father, glorify me in your presence with that glory I had with you before the world existed.

The princes within her are roaring lions; her judges are wolves of the night, which leave nothing for the morning.

Herod the tetrarch heard about everything that was going on. He was perplexed, because some said that John had been raised from the dead,some that Elijah had appeared, and others that one of the ancient prophets had risen.“ I beheaded John,” Herod said,“ but who is this I hear such things about?” And he wanted to see him.

When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said,“ It is finished.” Then bowing his head, he gave up his spirit.
