Then one said to Him,“ Lord, are there few who are saved?” And He said to them,

Someone asked him,“ Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?” He said to them,

And one said unto him, Lord, are they few that are saved? And he said unto them,

“ Lord,” someone asked Him,“ are there few being saved?” He said to them,

Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,

Someone asked him,“ Lord, will only a few be saved?” So he said to them,

One said to him,“ Lord, are they few who are saved?” He said to them,

Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

Peter, seeing him, said to Jesus,“ But Lord, what about this man?”Jesus said to him,“ If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you? You follow Me.”

Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying,“ Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”And Jesus answered and said to them:“ Take heed that no one deceives you.For many will come in My name, saying,‘ I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.

“ For many are called, but few are chosen.”

So they asked Him, saying,“ Teacher, but when will these things be? And what sign will there be when these things are about to take place?”And He said:“ Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying,‘ I am He,’ and,‘ The time has drawn near.’ Therefore do not go after them.

Then one from the crowd said to Him,“ Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.”But He said to him,“ Man, who made Me a judge or an arbitrator over you?”And He said to them,“ Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.”

So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few chosen.”

And He said to them,“ It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

“ Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign when all these things will be fulfilled?”And Jesus, answering them, began to say:“ Take heed that no one deceives you.

When His disciples heard it, they were greatly astonished, saying,“ Who then can be saved?”
