他們不能回答這些話。

他們再也不敢詰問他甚麼事了。

『人論到我都必說：義氣和能力惟在於永恆主；人都必回轉來歸向他；凡向他發怒的、必至於慚愧。

已經臨近耶路撒冷，正下橄欖山的時候，全羣的門徒、因所見過的一切異能、就歡樂起來，大聲頌讚上帝說：『奉主名來的王是當受祝頌的！在天上和平，在至高之處榮耀！』羣眾中有幾個法利賽人對耶穌說：『先生，責備你門徒吧。』耶穌回答說：『我告訴你們，這些人若不作聲，石頭也會喊起來的！』

當耶穌呼喚拉撒路出了墳墓、叫他從死人中活起來時、同耶穌在一起的那羣人、作了見證。羣眾之所以去迎接耶穌的、是因為他們聽說他行了這件神迹。

他所作的是尊榮和威嚴；他的義氣長久堅立着；

官長們又威嚇一番，就把他們釋放了。為了人民的緣故、官長們都找不出怎樣來刑罰使徒，因為眾人為了所發生的事都將榮耀歸與上帝。

卻尋不出所可行的；因為眾民都緊纏着耶穌來聽他。

但他們再也不能往前進了；因為他們的愚昧必在眾人面前顯得明明白白，像那兩人一樣。

眾民都看見他又走路又頌讚上帝。他們認得這個人是素常坐在殿的美門口求施捨的，就因他所遇着的事而滿心驚訝駭異。那人正握住彼得約翰的時候、眾民都一齊跑到他們那裏，在那名叫所羅門廊之下，非常驚訝。

他立時看見，就跟着耶穌，將榮耀歸與上帝。眾民看見了，也都把頌讚獻與上帝。

當那日子、永恆主發生的「樹苗」必華美而光輝；地出產的果實必成為以色列逃脫之人所誇耀而感到體面的。
