When Jesus saw her, he called her to him and said,“ Woman, you are freed from your infirmity.”

When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her,“ Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.”

He sent them an assuring word and healed them; he rescued them from the pits where they were trapped.

Then shouldn’t this woman, a daughter of Abraham whom Satan bound for eighteen long years, be released from this imprisonment on the Sabbath day?”

But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man who had the withered hand,“ Get up and stand here.” So he rose and stood there.Then Jesus said to them,“ I ask you, is it lawful to do good on the Sabbath or to do evil, to save a life or to destroy it?”After looking around at them all, he said to the man,“ Stretch out your hand.” The man did so, and his hand was restored.

When it was evening, many demon- possessed people were brought to him. He drove out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick.
