And Jesus answered and spake again in parables unto them, saying,The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a certain king, who made a marriage feast for his son,and sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the marriage feast: and they would not come.Again he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them that are bidden, Behold, I have made ready my dinner; my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come to the marriage feast.But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his merchandise;and the rest laid hold on his servants, and treated them shamefully, and killed them.But the king was wroth; and he sent his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned their city.Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they that were bidden were not worthy.Go ye therefore unto the partings of the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage feast.And those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was filled with guests.But when the king came in to behold the guests, he saw there a man who had not on a wedding- garment:and he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding- garment? And he was speechless.Then the king said to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and cast him out into the outer darkness; there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.For many are called, but few chosen.

I have waited for thy salvation, O Jehovah.

And I think it right, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;knowing that the putting off of my tabernacle cometh swiftly, even as our Lord Jesus Christ signified unto me.Yea, I will give diligence that at every time ye may be able after my decease to call these things to remembrance.

Watch therefore: for ye know not on what day your Lord cometh.But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch the thief was coming, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken through.Therefore be ye also ready; for in an hour that ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Jehovah is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.It is good that a man should hope and quietly wait for the salvation of Jehovah.

And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and this man was righteous and devout, looking for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Spirit was upon him.And it had been revealed unto him by the Holy Spirit, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.And he came in the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, that they might do concerning him after the custom of the law,then he received him into his arms, and blessed God, and said,Now lettest thou thy servant depart, Lord, According to thy word, in peace;For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,

But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, who took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.And five of them were foolish, and five were wise.For the foolish, when they took their lamps, took no oil with them:but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.Now while the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.But at midnight there is a cry, Behold, the bridegroom! Come ye forth to meet him.Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are going out.But the wise answered, saying, Peradventure there will not be enough for us and you: go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.And while they went away to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage feast: and the door was shut.Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.Watch therefore, for ye know not the day nor the hour.

I rose up to open to my beloved; And my hands droppeth with myrrh, And my fingers with liquid myrrh, Upon the handles of the bolt.I opened to my beloved; But my beloved had withdrawn himself, and was gone. My soul had failed me when he spake: I sought him, but I could not find him; I called him, but he gave me no answer.

Be patient therefore, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it, until it receive the early and latter rain.Be ye also patient; establish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord is at hand.
