人曳爾至會堂、或有司之前、毋庸鰓鰓過慮、其何以辯護、如何措詞、

人带你们到会堂，并官府和有权柄的人面前，不要思虑怎么分诉，说什么话；

有人带你们到会堂、官长和掌权的人面前，不要担心怎么答辩，说什么话；

有人带你们到会堂、官长和掌权的人面前，不要担心怎么答辩，说什么话；

当人押你们到会堂，或到官员和当权者面前时，不要顾虑如何辩解，或说什么话，

人把你们拉到会堂、官长和当权者的面前，你们不要思虑怎样申辩或说什么话。

当他们把你们带到会堂，或带到统治者和掌权者面前的时候，不要忧虑怎样申辩或说什么。

人帶你們到會堂，並官府和有權柄的人面前，不要思慮怎麼分訴，說甚麼話；

有人帶你們到會堂、官長和掌權的人面前，不要擔心怎麼答辯，說甚麼話；

有人帶你們到會堂、官長和掌權的人面前，不要擔心怎麼答辯，說甚麼話；

人曳爾至會堂、及執政操權者前、毋慮何以對、何所言、

人曳爾至會堂、及執政秉鈞者前、勿慮將如之何、何以訴、何以言、

人曳爾至會堂及執政秉權者前、勿慮將如何伸訴、何以伸訴、何以言、

“ When you are brought before synagogues, rulers and authorities, do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say,

“ You will be brought before synagogues, rulers and authorities. But do not worry about how to stand up for yourselves or what to say.

And when they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, do not be anxious about how you should defend yourself or what you should say,

“ And when you are brought to trial in the synagogues and before rulers and authorities, don’t worry about how to defend yourself or what to say,

Whenever they bring you before synagogues and rulers and authorities, don’t worry about how you should defend yourselves or what you should say.

Now when they bring you before the synagogues and the officials and the authorities, do not worry about how or what you are to speak in your defense, or what you are to say;

“ Now when they bring you to the synagogues and magistrates and authorities, do not worry about how or what you should answer, or what you should say.

And when they bring you before the synagogues, and the rulers, and the authorities, be not anxious how or what ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:

Whenever they bring you before synagogues and rulers and authorities, don’t worry about how you should defend yourselves or what you should say.

And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and[ unto] magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:

But when they bring you before the synagogues, the rulers, and the authorities, do not worry about how you should make your defense or what you should say,

When they bring you before the synagogues, the rulers, and the authorities, don’t be anxious how or what you will answer, or what you will say;

謹防世人、人將送爾於公會、撻爾於會堂、為我之故、解爾至有司與君王之前、對若輩及萬民、為吾作證。爾被解時勿慮將如何言、當作何語；屆時必示爾所當言；蓋言者非爾、實爾父之神、藉爾而言也。

翌日、有司、長老、經生會於耶路撒冷、大司祭亞納及蓋法若翰亞力山大與大司祭戚屬咸集、命宗徒立於眾前而問之曰、『爾恃何權、奉何名、以行此乎？』

爾當戒慎、爾將因予之故、被人執交公會、撻於會堂、解至王侯之前、以證吾道。蓋福音必需先布於天下萬國也。當爾被緝付官之日、毋庸勞心焦思、預備其詞；時至、一依所默啟者言之可也。蓋言者非爾、實為聖神。

唯此事之先、人必為予名之故、將爾拘捕、加爾迫辱、解爾於會堂、幽爾於囹圄、曳爾至王侯公卿之前；凡此皆所以授爾良機、為道作證耳。務宜鎮定爾心、毋庸事先考慮、何以應答、

是故吾遣先知哲人經師於爾、爾或刃之釘之、或鞭之於會堂、逐之於諸邑、

乃顧謂其徒曰：『故予語爾、勿慮生何以食、身何以衣。

既至、命宗徒立公會前；大司祭問曰：『吾未嚴禁爾曹勿復奉斯名而教人乎？今則反以其道徧傳耶路撒冷、豈欲以其人之血歸諸吾身乎？』伯鐸祿及諸宗徒對曰：『順主而不徇人、理所當然。被爾懸木而殉之耶穌、已為吾祖之天主所復活；且以右手舉之、使為君王、使為救主、俾以悔悟之心、救拔之恩、賜於義塞之人、並以聖神錫諸信者、吾儕均可為之作證。』

而利伯地拿、古利奈、亞力山大、基利家、亞細亞諸地之公會、有人起而與之辯難。司諦文憑其智慧靈感、應對沛然、無能禦之者。眾乃唆使流言、謂其誹謗摩西、褻瀆天主。民眾及長老經生為之聳動、遽臨捕之、引入會堂、設證以誣之曰：『律法與聖所、時為所謗；嘗聞其言納匝勒人耶穌將毀是地。摩西遺規、亦將更易。』與會者無不注目視之、見其道貌岸然、一如天神。
