耶穌對他們說：「你們要謹慎，防備法利賽人和撒都該人的酵。」門徒彼此議論說：「這是因為我們沒有帶餅吧。」耶穌看出來，就說：「你們這小信的人，為甚麼因為沒有餅彼此議論呢？你們還不明白嗎？不記得那五個餅分給五千人、又收拾了多少籃子的零碎嗎？也不記得那七個餅分給四千人、又收拾了多少筐子的零碎嗎？我對你們說：『要防備法利賽人和撒都該人的酵』，這話不是指着餅說的，你們怎麼不明白呢？」門徒這才曉得他說的不是叫他們防備餅的酵，乃是防備法利賽人和撒都該人的教訓。

那心中不敬虔的人積蓄怒氣；神捆綁他們，他們竟不求救；

王派攙扶他的那軍長在城門口彈壓，眾人在那裏將他踐踏，他就死了，正如神人在王下來見他的時候所說的。

他們聽見，就歸榮耀與神，對保羅說：「兄台，你看猶太人中信主的有多少萬，並且都為律法熱心。

假冒為善的人哪，你們知道分辨天地的氣色，怎麼不知道分辨這時候呢？」

但耶穌的名聲越發傳揚出去。有極多的人聚集來聽道，也指望醫治他們的病。

錫安中的罪人都懼怕；不敬虔的人被戰兢抓住。我們中間誰能與吞滅的火同住？我們中間誰能與永火同住呢？

你們有禍了！因為你們如同不顯露的墳墓，走在上面的人並不知道。」

耶穌和他們下了山，站在一塊平地上；同站的有許多門徒，又有許多百姓，從猶太全地和耶路撒冷，並泰爾、西頓的海邊來，都要聽他講道，又指望醫治他們的病；

我當日所領受又傳給你們的：第一，就是基督照聖經所說，為我們的罪死了，

惡人誇勝是暫時的，不敬虔人的喜樂不過轉眼之間嗎？

耶穌站在革尼撒勒湖邊，眾人擁擠他，要聽神的道。

不敬虔的人雖然得利，神奪取其命的時候還有甚麼指望呢？
