耶穌對他們說：“你們要小心，提防法利賽人和撒都該人的酵。”他們就彼此議論說：“這是因為我們沒有帶餅吧。”耶穌知道了，就說：“小信的人，為甚麼議論沒有餅這件事呢？你們還不明白嗎？你們是不是忘記了那五個餅分給五千人，又裝滿了多少個籃子呢？還是忘記了那七個餅分給四千人，又裝滿了多少個大籃子呢？我對你們講的不是餅的事，你們為甚麼不明白？你們要提防法利賽人和撒都該人的酵。”這時他們才領會耶穌說的不是要提防餅酵，而是要提防法利賽人和撒都該人的教訓。

那些心裡不敬虔的人積存怒氣，神捆綁他們，他們竟不呼求。

王指派那官長，就是那攙扶他的，在城門口鎮壓。眾民在城門那裡把他踐踏在地，他就死了，好像神人所說的，就是王下來到神人那裡時，他所說的。

他們聽了，就讚美神，對保羅說：“弟兄，你看，猶太人中信主的有好幾萬，都是對律法很熱心的人。

偽君子啊！你們知道分辨天地的氣象，怎麼不知道分辨這個時代呢？

但他的名聲卻越發傳揚出去，成群的人來聚集，要聽道，並且要使他們的疾病痊愈。

在錫安的罪人都恐懼；戰兢抓住了不敬虔的人：“我們中間誰能與吞滅一切的火同住呢？我們中間誰能與不斷燃燒的火同住呢？”

你們有禍了！因為你們好像不顯露的墳墓，走在上面的人並不知道。”

耶穌和他們下了山，站在平地上，有一大群門徒同他在一起，又有一大批從猶太全地、耶路撒冷和推羅、西頓海邊來的人。

我從前領受了又傳交給你們那最要緊的，就是基督照著聖經所記的，為我們的罪死了，

惡人的歡呼並不長久，不敬虔者的快樂，不過是暫時的嗎？

耶穌站在革尼撒勒湖邊，眾人擁擠他，要聽神的道。

不敬虔的人被剪除，神奪去他性命的時候還有甚麼指望呢？
