夫既因認識吾主耶穌基督、而脫濁世之習氣、今復重入羅網、從此休矣！且其晚節必有較前更醜者焉。蓋與其知道而背命、孰若初未聞道之為愈乎？諺云：「犬有所吐、轉復茹之；母豬方潔、又入泥中。」此言茲若人之儔歟。

後耶穌遇之殿中、諭之曰：『汝茲已見康復、勿再犯罪、恐後患有甚焉者！』

夫吾人既認識真道、如再明知故犯、則不復有贖罪之祭、而其所餘者、惟觳觫待刑、以候吞滅悖逆之燎火而已。昔人干犯摩西律法、根據二三人之證言、尚且殺之無貸；何況蹂躪天主聖子、輕慢聖德所本之盟血、褻瀆恩寵所自之聖神、爾謂其所當受之刑罰、更堪設想乎！『伸冤在我、報應不爽。』『惟彼上主、黜陟厥民。』吾人固知作是語者之為誰也。遭受永生天主之譴怒、可怖也已！

乃往召較己尤惡七鬼同來居寓；其人之後患、必有甚焉者也。斯邪惡世代、亦復如是。』

蓋人若曾蒙光照、曾味靈寵、曾受聖神、曾悟天主聖道之盡善盡美、與夫新興時代之偉大、而竟中途背棄聖道、若而人者、不啻親手重釘基督於十字架上、且當眾而辱之也。欲其再行悔過自新、尚可得乎？譬如地土、甘霖時降、飽受滋潤、而產百穀、有益於耕耘之人、則天主福焉。若其產荊棘蒺藜、則必被棄置、服咒詛結果亦惟有付諸一炬而已矣。

哀哉爾經生與法利塞人、虛偽之徒也、蓋爾周行海陸、招人入教、既入、則引之為地獄子、較爾猶惡。

在爾等愛席之上、彼必與共、惟有恣其口腹、靦然自飽、以玷爾清潔耳。此輩實同無雨之雲、為風所逐；秋後之樹、不結果實；外枯中乾、根株盡拔。狂浪無鄉、長吐堪羞之沫；流星離宅、永歸漆黑之淵。
