耶穌燭其意、謂之曰；『國而分裂、其國必墟。屋上加屋、其屋必圮。

他晓得他们的意念，便对他们说：“凡一国自相纷争，就成为荒场；凡一家自相纷争，就必败落。

Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them:“ Any kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and a house divided against itself will fall.

Jesus knew what they were thinking. So he said to them,“ Any kingdom that fights against itself will be destroyed. A family that is divided against itself will fall.

But he, knowing their thoughts, said to them,“ Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and a divided household falls.

He knew their thoughts, so he said,“ Any kingdom divided by civil war is doomed. A family splintered by feuding will fall apart.

Knowing their thoughts, he told them,“ Every kingdom divided against itself is headed for destruction, and a house divided against itself falls.

耶穌招之來、設譬以喻之曰：『夫沙殫安能卻沙殫哉？國而自分、其國必亡；家而自裂、其家奚立。若沙殫起而自攻、則成分裂、烏在其能自立而不亡乎？凡欲入壯士之室、而刧其所藏者、未有不先縛其人、而後掠其室者也。

耶穌燭其意曰：『何腹誹為？

耶穌洞察其意、謂之曰：『一國自析、必成墟；家邑自析、無以立；以魔祛魔、是自析也、其國將奚立。倘吾賴白爾責布以祛魔、則爾子孫之祛魔、又將誰賴？故知判爾罪者、必在若輩之身矣。倘吾賴天主之神以祛魔、則天主之國已臨爾矣。夫人亦安能貿然入強者之室、而掠其貨乎？必先縛強者、然後可掠其室也。

其子女均將夭折；俾諸教會皆知吾洞察人心、且將按爾中各人之行為而施報應焉。

蓋彼洞幽燭微、於人無所不悉、固無待外證耳。
