願我愛友、黽勉自勵；於爾神聖之信仰上、好自建立；常憑聖神之默感、以祈以禱；

主已垂聽兮。謙者之音。必賜慰藉兮。堅固其心。

耶穌嘗燕居祈禱、諸徒與偕、耶穌問之曰：『眾人以予為誰？』

彼時、耶穌登山祈禱、通宵求主。

即聖神因鑒於吾人之闇弱、而昧於祈禱之道、亦多方相助、以不可思議之歎息、而為吾人代求焉。且洞悉人心之天主、固諳聖神之意向；以聖神為聖徒代求者、悉循天主之旨故也。

言後八日、耶穌率伯鐸祿、若望雅谷伯登山祈禱。

但願遠罪戾。庶免染塵緇。或可無大過。心口莫睽違。

爾貪而不得、乃行兇殺；妒而不獲乃起爭奪。爾之所以不得者、以爾不求也；求而不得者、以爾求之不以其道、蓋爾所求者、徒為縱情恣慾而已

基督在世之日、大聲疾呼涕淚漣如、哀求全能者拯之出死、卒以其克懷寅畏、而蒙垂聽。
