你们进了他家，要祝那家平安。如果那一家是配得的，你们的平安就临到那一家；如果那家是不配得的，你们的平安就归回你们。

你们要如此说：‘愿你长寿！愿你平安！愿你的家平安！愿属于你的一切都平安！

并使他结出嘴唇的果实：平安！平安归于远处的人，也归于近处的人！我要治愈他。”这是耶和华说的。

并且来传和平的福音给你们在远处的人，也给那些在近处的人。

耶稣对他说：“今天救恩临到了这一家，因为他也是亚伯拉罕的子孙。

这一切都是出于神，他藉着基督使我们与他自己和好，并且把这劝人与他和好的服事工作赐给了我们。这就是说，在基督里，神使世人与自己和好，不把他们的过犯算在他们的身上，又把这和好的福音托付了我们。因此我们是基督的特使，就像神藉着我们在劝告人——我们代替基督请求说：“与神和好吧！”

神藉着耶稣基督——这一位就是万有之主——传和平的福音，把这话语赐给了以色列子民。
