爾當盡爾之心、盡爾之情、盡爾之知、盡爾之力、以愛爾所天之主。次則愛人如己。誡無重於此者。』

對曰：『「盡爾之心、盡爾之情、盡爾之知、以愛爾上主天主。」斯誡乃首而大者。其次即「愛人如己」是已。此二誡者、實為所有律法及先知書之綱領也。』

『毋犯奸淫、毋殺人、毋偷盜、毋妄證、毋貪人之所有、』以及其他誡律、一言以蔽之、亦曰愛人如己而已。

經云：『爾當愛人如己。』爾能守此王法、則庶幾矣。

誠能盡心盡知盡力以愛之、又復愛人如己、則勝於一切燔牲祀祭多矣。』耶穌見其言具智慧、曰：『天主之國、距爾匪遙。』自此更無人敢加質難焉。

望吾小子、愛人以行、以誠、勿可徒騰口說、而愛人以巧言令色也。

敬爾父母、愛人如己。』

主曰：「時既至、當與義塞約如次欲將吾誡命、置彼腔子裏；真諦與妙道、深深銘腑肺；我為彼主宰、彼為我子民

今兄弟等已蒙召而獲自由矣惟勿以自由為名、而行其放縱恣肆之實；務望以仁愛之精神、而彼此互相服務也。
