耶穌對他說：「律法上寫的是甚麼？你念的是怎樣呢？」

耶穌對他說：「律法上寫的是甚麼？你是怎樣念的呢？」

耶穌對他說：「律法上寫的是甚麼？你是怎樣念的呢？」

耶穌反問他：「律法怎麼說？你怎麼理解？」

耶穌對他說：“律法上寫的是甚麼？你怎麼念的呢？”

耶穌對他說：『律法上寫的是甚麼？你誦讀的怎麼樣呢？』

耶穌對他說：「律法上是怎麼寫的？你是怎麼讀的呢？」

耶穌曰、律所載者何耶、爾讀之如何、

曰律法所載如何、爾所讀如何、

耶穌曰、律法所載為何、爾所讀如何、

曰『經何云？』

“ What is written in the Law?” he replied.“ How do you read it?”

“ What is written in the Law?” Jesus replied.“ How do you understand it?”

He said to him,“ What is written in the Law? How do you read it?”

Jesus replied,“ What does the law of Moses say? How do you read it?”

“ What is written in the law?” he asked him.“ How do you read it?”

He said to him,“ What is written in the law? What is your reading of it?”

And he said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?

“ What is written in the law?” He asked him.“ How do you read it?”

He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?

He said to him,“ What is written in the law? How do you understand it?”

He said to him,“ What is written in the law? How do you read it?”

For Moses writes of the righteousness that is based on the Law, that the person who performs them will live by them.

Is the Law then contrary to the promises of God? Far from it! For if a law had been given that was able to impart life, then righteousness would indeed have been based on law.But the Scripture has confined everyone under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God;

To the Law and to the testimony! If they do not speak in accordance with this word, it is because they have no dawn.

For if those who are of the Law are heirs, then faith is made void and the promise is nullified;for the Law brings about wrath, but where there is no law, there also is no violation.For this reason it is by faith, in order that it may be in accordance with grace, so that the promise will be guaranteed to all the descendants, not only to those who are of the Law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,

However, the Law is not of faith; on the contrary,“ The person who performs them will live by them.”Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us— for it is written:“ Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”—
